I have a huge garden tub in our bathroom.Rums can almost step into it but it doesn't matter it's like wrestling an alligator and it's not because he doesn't like it.Newf's are water dogs and he thinks he's at Disney World...
It's time to play.Water breathes new life into him..When he escapes we always find him in the creek..When we first moved here Mr.???? would let him run while he did chores outside and one day in winter he took him out with him when he looked around Rums had disappeared...so he mosied on down to the creek to get him and the creek had iced over and Rums had fallen thru the ice...Mr.????laid on his stomach and pulled Rums out.I could have lost both of them that day..No more runnin for Rums....

Hubby told me to take him to work with me and bathe him in our big tub there. It is one of those is is waist high and stainless steel. I don't think I could get him in it and if I did he may pull the hook off the back of it. The one good thing is that he gets cleaned and so do hubby, me and the whole bathroom floor and walls.

Eeek! How scary!! If Shrek gets out the door without his leash on he just runs in a straight line at full speed for about three or four houses down. Then he just trots around aimlessly and ignores me. I have to get in the truck and go get him. He'll come right to the truck and hop in. He's such a goofball.

Wow...I leave for a day and a half and you become a busy and talkative posse! No way I can catch up, so consider yourself liked. Looks like an old friend dropped in...hey, SD!

T*xes are done, spent the night at gf's parents' house doing family stuff. Gf's dad has COPD and is struggling big time. They love that I'm a year off cigarettes, as you can imagine. Fun hanging out at the folks' house since mine are gone. Kinda like coming home.

Hello all! What an odd day - I dislike springing forward!!!

Today is beautiful, 73 degrees, gentle breeze, windows open. Then it will cool way down to the 40s.

Lacers gets her bath in the pool!!! We just through the ball in the pool a few times so she is good and wet, shampoo her, send her back into the pool, conditioner her and then use the sprayer on the hose to wash her down a little more. She loves getting wiped down with the towels. Its so strange, she loves water, but won't go out in the rain. Right now her allergies are so bad that she is on Benedryl two times a day (as doctor ordered) so she is sleepy, but she isn't licking or biting her paws off Poor baby.

(((Tiff))) on the couch, I don't know what I would have done. We have leather. I have a leather office chair that my 17 year old son has put several holes in, seems he likes to use the arm rests to poke his pencil down. Grrrrrr!

Its quite beautiful looking around the street, all the plum trees are in bloom (a bit early) and all the other trees are blooming also. Pretty purples, pinks, white & a few red.

Its a pizza night! Hubby has worked all weekend. Yesterday he went into the office, today he chose to stay home, so we've been tip toeing. He has to have a proposal done by tonight that they were literally given on Thursday and another one due on Tuesday. I doubt we'll see him tomorrow or Tuesday.

I'm all calmed down now. She's asleep and looks so sweet and innocent. I know she didn't do it to be mean, I just can't understand why she would do it. I thought at her age she would surely know better. Guess not. Alls good though. I covered it with a blanket and sat right back down.

That's very true. I can look back and see I've mellowed with age. Hubby has always been very mellow and laid back. If he got any more laid back he'd be catatonic.

I love Golden Corral. Especially the yeast rolls with the honey butter. mmmmmmm!!! I can make a meal on just that.
