Well at least enjoy the drive..Go down that beautiful highway that runs along the coast...Hopefully she lives along it.If not just keep driving...Saturday in Sunny California....
Oooh, I could go for a nice ride down the PCH today! I wish! :)

Quiet here today...Everyone must be out buying bread and milk.I know Drott and Bam should be they get my weather the next day...My shoe keeps eating my sock...That hasn't happened since 4th grade...looking around for flipflops...
Well I got bread and Andy got milk, so I guess we're covered!

Well that was craptastic. We just had a grease fire in my oven. :( Andy never cleaned up the mess from when he heated stromboli on a cookie sheet, so it was flaming and smoking. And I was finally able to answer the question "Mom, why do we have a box of Kosher salt in the cabinet?". To clean up burnt on grease spills of course. :grr:

Two loads of dishes, done. Three loads of laundry, done. 4 counter tops, done. 30 minutes of nap, done. Now to scan several documents out of my mother's Merchant Mariner's licenses and email them to her, then out to dinner, then to my dad's to give him the $1600 to pay for Disney, and to discuss logistics of food and travel.... So much for my "nothing" planned today.

Yeah, but planning a vacation is half the fun! Gf and I are planning a trip up the California coast for a week in July. I just got done booking all the hotel reservations. Can't wait - I'm so ready for a vacation!

Just woke up from my 2 1/2 hour nap. Thinking of laying back down.

I've had the same thing, Tiff. A cold that went straight into a sinus infection. It sucks. I think I'm finally turning the corner today. Lots of rest, and I used one of those "Netty Pot" things, cept the squirt kind. It helped, along with Advil and antihistamines and decongestants. Hope you kick it soon! ((Tiff))

Beautiful sunny 40 degree day will morph into 7 inches of snow by tomorrow night...Good thing I didn't pack my flannel P.J's away...Also I am not going to buy bread and milk...I refuse...looks like no toast or cereal for me until Monday...Too bad...

Never give in, Stretchy! If you don't buy bread and milk, it can't snow! Yeah, that's the ticket....

If you do happen to win...Remember your vape buddies...

I should start sucking up now, just in case. :D

This is not good. I hate un-cleaned-up spills in the oven, but it happens here, too. :(

How is the Kosher salt used to clean up burnt-on grease spills? Enquiring minds want to know. I keep it in the house all the time to cook with.

I can't like your stove catching fire. Hope everything is O.K. I like your new signature banner...What is that?

After the flame went out, I dumped it over the sooty remains and used a wooden spatula to scrape it off, it came right up! Or most of it did, oven still needs to be cleaned. I had always heard salt will help but never had to use it until now. It sort of absorbs the grease, and must do something to get the crusties to release, because it didn't take much work to scrape it off.

It's an AFPV (Another .......* PV). I'm in a co-op for one, and one of the members made banners. I thought it was pretty cool!
