Ok, I am NOT going to attempt to catch up on 30+ pages...
We are finally back home. Kids are outside playing and Mrs E is on her way back to her parents' house to pick up the furbabies and the fish.
The week didnt turn out as well as we had hoped. CJ's cough did go away with the albuterol treatments, and thank you all for the well wishes for him. However, Mrs E got worse. I took her to the Urgent Care (I cant remember if I said that to y'all or not). They gave her two meds. One of which made her violently ill. So, my dad and stepmom took the kids to Animal Kingdom so I could stay at the condo with her. If it got worse, the meds paperwork said to call an ER, but without a voice, she wouldnt have been able to. She felt a little better Wednesday, but had vertigo because of the pressure on her inner ear, so we just rented her a wheelchair. Best $12 we spent at the park. We jumped to the front of almost every line.
Thursday, it rained almost all day. Dad and stepmom were ready to call it quits, but I convinced them to hold out for just a little while longer. The rain finally stopped, and we stayed and enjoyed the last day in Hollywood studios.
Friday, we (by "we", I mean my wife and stepmom) decided that we should go to many of the large flea markets to get souvenirs at a fraction of what they cost in the park. On our way out of the first one, I saw a tattoo artist and looked through his portfolio and was impressed with his work. I shook my head and walked off. Then went back. Then walked off. Then went back. Mrs E finally said, "Youve been wanting the damned thing for a over a year. Ask him how much it will be, and get it if its worth it." So, I did. When I priced the design here in Charlotte, it was going to be about $500. This guy said $250. When I asked why so cheap, he said he loves doing animals, and especially eagles. Two hours later, my bank account was $250 lighter and I had a tattoo. Melanie started crying when I sat down. She didnt want the artist to hurt her daddy. she's so sweet.
Im going to put as much as I can on photobucket, then link the folder, if any one wants to look. There are a lot of vids and pix that I need to get off of my phone.
And I found out that my assistant coach got a little overzealous in my absence. We have two practices plus two games next week. Plus the week of work thats been piled up while I was gone. Its gonna be a rough first week back!!!

Oh, and traffic SUCKED yesterday. It took nearly 10 hours to complete a 6 hour drive. Today's drive was pretty smooth though. My dad left behind us by about an hour, and he didnt get home until midnight. He shouldve made it back closer to 8pm or so.
Oh sure... I come back after nearly a week, and then everyone runs away...

Had a fabulous weekend with number #1 son. We went shooting and gun hunting.I'm pretty good with a 9mm (I think).A shooting range we happened upon had some KAHR K9 Police weapon's from New York City.(Maybe they banned police with guns there too and armed them all with Billy Clubs ) but I digress....So I bought one of those and one called the "Judge" made by Taurus.It shoots a 410 rifle slug..Talk about fire power it almost knocked me back to last week...It's gonna take some practice.We went to 2 rifle ranges 3 restaurants and met my other son and his girl for bowling...Good Times....
I think the FL sunshine followed me home. Its 75 degrees here!
