In the middle of this travesty of a day, I just received something unexpected...
One of the guys I work with is former Navy and a Harley rider. He just handed me a "Freedom Bell" or "Guardian Bell". Its in the shape of an eagle head. I think thats one of the coolest things anyone from this office has ever done for me.

I would be willing to bet I will be one of the very few crotch rocket riders who has ever had one on their bike.

Sooooooo....Mrs E just called me. Kat went to a friend's house and will be there until Saturday afternoon. Mrs E said she was having problems with the other two, keeping them cooped up in the house since its raining outside. So, I said, let them go out and play! There is no thunder or lightning, just rain. Mrs E got loud and that got CJ's attention and he ran to see what she was raising her voice about. She made the mistake of actually telling him. Hehe. Both kids are now out in the front yard playing with Charli in the rain and mud.

Very nice James! I've had bells on all my bikes. And they work better when they are a gift from someone else.
I had a very nice surprise in the mail when I got home today. My pay stub was in there, and I usually just toss it on the desk but today for some reason I looked at it - it's almost double the normal amount!
Down at the bottom, it says "grievance payment included". They must have started giving me my back pay from when I got hit by the car!!! Geez, it's only been 6 years. 
You do not want him to resort to the elephant jokes, trust me on this one.
