Oh, and...

James - glad you're ok!

Stretchy - Yay for shorts!

FV - I'm also out of K-cups. It's a sweet tea kinda morning I guess. :D

And I've got a few tats myself. My first was Jack. (He's also my only named tattoo) He's a 4-5" blue and green lizard, he hangs out on the back of my left shoulder.

Morning. Overcast here. At least it's not cold. I hope we have good weather tomorrow. It will stink if it rains on the track.

We live over 5 miles from the Maple Grove drag strip and can hear them race on certain weekends. Now THAT is loud! But to "feel" it in the stands as a spectator is indescribable. :D

Agreed. There is nothing like it, I get a rush every time they go down the track. My husband went to watch the qualifying rounds last night. He said the dragsters are running in the low 3's and the funny cars were in the low 4's. Wow, just wow. This is the first year at the Epping NH track that they have the "big boys" running. Last time I saw a national event was over 10 years ago in Englishtown, NJ. I feel like a little kid at Christmas. I can't wait until tomorrow! :D

Sorry, Sallie. You were out of K-cups, not FV.

I blame my reading comprehension issues on the fact that I've crammed way too much info in my brain over the last month.

Oh, FV was too. I think maybe punkin as well. It seemed to be going around this week. :)

Good morning posse!

Raining again today in hutsville. blech. We are just loading up the trailer to go work on hut 2.1. Hooray for enclosed trailers. We'll make a pit stop at Menards to look at flooring, then a fun day of tearing out the old heat registers. Windows were in the plan, but not in the rain.

i'M going back to bed...I know why God gives young people children...old people don't have the strength to whoop them...
Howdy y'all! I ended up not playing softball. Every time I bend my knee, it hurts for some reason. But, Mrs E and Kat played while I stayed in another field trying to teach Melanie and CJ how to throw the RIGHT way. Then we sat down and watched a little bit of the game. They made all of the guys bat wrong handed. It was an attempt to keep the balls from going over fences and to try to make sure none of the kids playing got hurt. There was even one inning that Kathryn was the only one that got on base! Then in the last inning, they let Kat pitch. Fast pitch. There was a girl on the other team about Kat's age that said "THANK GOD... REAL pitches." :D Mrs E tried to catch a pitch with her shin. You can imagine how well that worked out. Douche Canoe never showed up, so we were given the green light to leave just after 2:00. Got home, whooped the kids since they were beyond horrible, and made them take naps. Mrs E and I each stretched out on our respective couches and managed a few minutes of nap time. When we all got up, we decided to go buy our fireworks for my July 4th (on the 6th) cookout. I found a Groupon for a place close by. $20 for $40 of fireworks. Then we went to our normal place. Mrs E had a $100 gift card from a research study she did a few weeks ago. So all in all, we got $150 of fireworks for about $30 out of pocket.

Now dinner is over. CJ is in the shower. Melanie is about to take a shower. Kat is at her friend's house. And Mrs E and I are just ready to sit back and enjoy an evening of quiet.

Heh. When is a weekend NOT fun for me?

We're starting with picking up Kat in the morning, then taking Melanie to a birthday party, then to a friend's house for a cookout, then picking up Melanie, then getting back home, then waiting on Mrs E to get home from work, then leaving to go to that baseball game that got rained out a few weeks ago... I dont even know what Sunday has in store for me.... I just want to make it through tomorrow first.

I loved him in CLUE..I guess that was another campy movie but it was hysterically funny for a"Who Done it" parody.
Tim Curry was so good in that.

Much to his dismay, as he is actually a very celebrated stage actor and has played Mozart and worked with some of the best and wonderful playwrights....lots of Tony award....... yet he he "known" for that campy film LOL But w/out him i don't think it would ever have become what it did, even given the content/theme.

And with that great voice, he unfortunately had a stroke in 2012, so he couldn't speak and really can't sing or anything but maybe now he can with PT. I wish him well!
