The store is closed. Now I can get these orders out today and have tomorrow off. Woo Hoo!!!!
woooooOOOOO000000TTTTTT!!!!!

Will not go there....
Eh. You can. I dont mind. Its not like Ive ever tried to hide it. ;)

Good afternoon!

Darn, I forgot the store would be closed tomorrow.

My food OCD is bad. My food can't touch and I can't have an odd number of bites.

When I make a sandwich, the cheese can't touch the mustard. I have to have chips on my sandwich and must be an even number.

Now, outside of food. If I touch something with my left hand, I must touch it with the right hand. I have to double check my pockets 4 times before I walk out of the house. Meaning I feel for my phone, wallet, Provari and keys. I lock the door and then wiggle the knob a few times.
That is OCD. I get picked on at work and fussed at at home for a lot of the stuff that is OCD-ish I do. But I really dont have it. Im just picky. I know where all of my tools are because they go back into the exact same spot, meticulously so, every time they are used. When I vaccum, the little triangles it makes in the carpet have to be uniform in size and spacing. When something comes out of the fridge, it has to go back in the same place, and it has to make sense. Like the ketchup, mayo, and mustard all have to be grouped together. All of the sodas have to be on the same shelf and grouped together. My bookshelves have to be arranged alphabetically by author, and each book (if a series) must be arranged in chronological order of the story. My wife wont fold my laundry anymore because I always take it all out and refold it anyway. We have a power forklift/pallet lifter at work that we park so the forks are on either side of a support column. The forks have to be evenly spaced and lined up perfectly straight, or I move it until it is. All of our cable reels have to have the wire/cable hanging at nearly 90 degrees from vertical. Toilet paper has to pull from the top. There are much more, but those are the biggest ones.

Ack. I'll look at it and see if I can re-arrange things to look better. But not today, I want to get the mixing and shipping done quickly so that I can have an evening.
And a weekend?!? One that DOESNT involve working?

What she said.
Don't get sucked into that carrot, rice, and vegy additive stuff.Dogs don't eat vegetables in the wild. When's the last time you heard of a coyote digging up a vegetable garden? They are more likely in the hen house then in the pea patch.. Can I say pea here? Anyway stick with the meat protein and the occasional slice of pepperoni pizza.
She feeds the granular stuff, so she's okay. I still think packaged dog food is bad news all the way around. But then again, so is packaged people food. Ugh.
Bad news FV.It's been recalled...
Not so fast, I still have mixing to do today. Then I am off to the meat market to see what they have. For us and the dogs.
:toast: Run and get some bratts to grill.RUN.....

Even numbers. Everything must be in even numbers.

You and Mr.???? must be twins separated at birth by years. I like the "SOMEWHERE" approach around here for all things. If it's suppose it be in the fridge..It's indeed SOMEWHERE in the fridge.Just look for it...Then your not disappointed when it's not in the exact same spot everytime.Mr.???? has a heart attack when the mustard isn't on the inside door rack. Why die over mustard? It's in there. It's not disguised or incognito masquerading as Ketchup...it's in there..Relax....
He also is a stacker and has an odd little quirk when something has to be done regularly.Like if one of the dogs need meds he takes the med out of the canine animal meds chest and sits it out on the counter. He can'r just get it out of the chest when needed. It has to be seen. Our kitchen counter tops are filled with stuff like that including but not limited to his next days breakfast.Spoon, bowl, cereal and sugar all on the counter. We don't need cabinets.I kinda feel sorry for him...He also has to be an hour early for stuff...If he has a Drs.appt.for 1P.M.he leaves at 11:30...Personally I am ALWAYS on time but NEVER early...and he wants to know why I always do stuff.Like if I move something he wants to know why..I just tell him "I don't know" it stuns him everytime. It's kinda Passive/Aggressive but I get tired of having reasons for dumb stuff that doesn't matter in the scheme of things. It's all very tiring for someone like me who flies by the seat of their pants and survives.I don't sweat the small stuff..It just wouldn't occur to me to lose my mind over ketchup..

THIS!!! putting it on the other way is for savages. Might as well use leaves out of the yard.

Other than that, I don't pick up my tools. I have a really good memory. If no-one moves my stuff I can remember where I dropped it 10 yrs ago.

Im not QUITE that bad. But I do set out my clothes the night before. Since Mrs E is still asleep when I leave for work, I dont turn the lights on. If I dont lay them out, I run the risk of mismatching socks, or grabbing the wrong shirt or pants.

You sound a lot like Mrs E, too. She will just throw stuff down wherever she may be at the moment. The vaccum cleaner spends a majority of its life next to the trashcan, and subsequently, right in the path between the stove and the sink. She leaves it there because thats where shes standing when she empties the dirt cup thing. It doesnt matter that there is a perfectly perfect floor cabinet MADE to store the vaccum, and that its literally 3 steps away from the trashcan. She also refuses to wrap the cord for it around the little hooks. So everytime she uses it, she has to spend five minutes untangling the twisted knot she creates when she just balls it up on the top hook.

I have to be early to everything, but I think thats because of the military. I feel like Im late if Im not 15 minutes early, so I try to plan for 15 minutes before that.

And yes.... The mustard has to go on the door shelf. The reason for this is so its EASY to find. That way you dont HAVE to look for it, which is aggrivating when you know you left it in a particular spot.

I can tell you exactly where each tool was the last time I used it. The only problem is, that the wife and kids tend to move stuff to look for stuff that usually isnt where they are looking anyways.

So a co-worker and I were talking yesterday. She asked if I was going to be here today. I said yes, but not with bells on. Unless someone brings bells. She did.

Almost time.... why do the last few minutes before a day off always go the slowest?

Ive even gotten a lot done today. Caught up on all my receiving. All of my returns are taken care of and ready to go out. I even took out the trash and swept the whole warehouse.... Now all I can do is read while I wait on the clock to hit 3:00....

Why do people always wait until the last few minutes to ask you to do something. You know... right before THEY walk out the door? :glare: I JUST got off work. 1:00 dismissal my A double S! :grr:

Unless you have cats who like to unravel it. Having it pull from the bottom foils them. Then they shred it instead of unraveling it...

Good morning. CDL then Teens today. Off for the 4th them back to the RRace Fri Sat.

I should have taken off the 4th, but I decided to work (I can get a LOT done when I'm here on a holiday - fewer interruptions!) and bank a day for later use.

Only 23 days until vacation!

I think Im just going to hire someone to wrap all of my RBA's and wicks. And fill them up with House and test them so they work before I get them... I want these things to work for me SO badly.

Drott was even kind enough to send me one with the wick and coil already done. Dry, it burned perfectly. As soon as I added juice, blech.

I'm waiting on the downpour to let up before I leave.

Question for SP or Rick....what is a raw animal protein free diet for dogs mean? Is it meaning no raw meat or does it mean a special dog food?

I think you might mean a "raw animal protein GRAIN free diet, Tiff. That's a diet high in unprocessed animal proteins (see: meat) and free of grains. THere are a lot of downsides to feeding dogs grains of any kind, but especially corn, wheat and soy. Unfortunately a lot of commercial pet foods use a ton of grain "fillers" and dogs don't digest them well at all.

My suggestion: Find a good grain-free kibble (they're getting easier and easier to find) to use as a base, then add unprocessed raw or cooked (unspiced) meat, chicken, etc. YOu can use SOME vegetables as a supplement (green beans and broccoli in limited quantities are good). The book I gave you in file form has some good suggestions.

For Charlie, I feed Canidae grain free or Blue Buffalo Wilderness kibble, along with raw beet, pork or chicken (I set aside some of these that we're going to cook for meals and keep it in the refrigerator to add to his food. I also occasionally add raw egg (dogs pretty much can't get salmonella because of their much more acidic stomachs), and either cod liver oil or olive oil.

Bottom line is dogs evolved as meat eaters, and they have the digestive systems of meat eaters. :)

I'll take unravel over shred but they don't usually mess with it.
