Copper Creek Chit Chat continued....

I had to take a nap. Two more doses of pepto, another piece of bread and a dose and a half of motrin... I got enough of an appitite back to eat a little bit for dinner.
Then I got to the drains. Mrs E was right. The drain in the kid's bathroom had three water balloons, two toothpaste caps, and a toothbrush, plus the normal hairball you normally get. Our drain was surprisingly clean. So I snaked it back towards the main drain, and found enough of my wife's hair to make a two foot long hair extension. Bleh.
I also got a load of dishes clean. Im going to make Kat finish them though. I also got the backyard mostly cleaned up from all of the fireworks I didnt get to see. Im done though. Ive done a lot more today than I intended to do when I woke up this morning.

I am quickly coming to that same conclusion. What really sucks though, is that the amount I drank at the rate I drank it last night, would have been a really good buzz had it been 15 years ago. I think next time, I will lay off of the vodka and just keep to the beer.James, I've found as I age, the next day is less and less worth it.
I think Im getting kicked off the computer... Kat has one of her friends over here and they want to play some weird game Ive never heard of.

Yesterday was lots of fun, but we didn't get home til 2am. Today we spent all day working on the pond/swamp. It's back to being a pond. My fish are happier, so are we. We added lights behind the rocks in the waterfall and it looks amazing. Of course we mucked up the rest of the yard working on that. One more thing on the list.....

The good news is that I feel almost normal today. And that my knee is finally healed up enough I can wear jeans without having to put a bandaid over it. Its still not fully healed yet, but its MUCH better. And it only took three weeks.
I was only out for one work day last week, but it looks like I was gone for about three days, judging from the mess. Ungh. Sometimes its just not worth taking any time off.

GoodMorning. I didnt get nearly as much sleep as I wanted. Mrs E got stuck at work late and didnt get home until almost midnight.
