Translation: I do sometimes, but am not a die hard checker though.
:lol:and you answered this;I do sometimes not a die hath checker though.

Morning posse!

No, I don't eat labels. We run the labels for Vaper's House as well as our own. We need a second label printer. ugh. $$$

James, glad to see you today. Hang in there, each day gets a bit easier.

Stretchy, try to get a pic of Dixie Kisses after the kitty paws please. I could use a giggle this morning.

Victor decided that everyone had to be awake at 7. He did not need to go out. He did not want breakfast. Just wanted us up and moving so he could sprawl out in the middle of the bed. :grr:

Mornin' y'all. Mrs E went to work this morning. And somehow, the kids let me sleep in until nearly 11am. I guess I needed the sleep.

The kids and I are about to leave in a little while to get CJ to a birthday party, then Mrs E will pick him up after work, then Mrs E goes to someone else's party while I take the kids to another party, then Mrs E will meet me at the party that Im going to be at. :whew:

I just really hope its enough to keep Mrs E's mind off of Cocoa. Last night was not a very good night for her.

Like you said, keeping busy will help. And it sounds like you got that covered today.

We need a Stretchy-English dictionary! We can set it next to the Drott-English one.

Is there a reason to meter batts?

Yes...it satisfies OCD-reated cravings. :D
Not really necessary. I don't check mine much, but I do try to use it to catch the batteries at 50% and change them then. It increases the useful life of the battery if you run them about halfway then re-charge. On the other hand, batteries are pretty cheap, even good ones, so who really cares that much? Maybe that OCD observation applies to me.

So they sent us help new guy that doesn't know what he's doing. So we have to stop what were doing every 5 min to help him out. Tell me were that's help? 55 in Q. I love my job.

Lovely...and once you have him trained, he will never be sent to help you again!

Mrs E picked up the kids from the party. It turns out that the little girl who had the birthday party that CJ was going to, her mom was Melanie's teacher last year. So Melanie got to stay for the party too. I took the time to go downstairs and replace one of the wall outlets that ripped out of the wall a few months ago. And Ive found out that no matter how much experince you have working with electricity, its still not a good idea to work on an outlet without turning the breaker off. I lost track of how much voltage Ive absorbed over the years, but I added a few more today.

Someone said I was the character Nitro on Down Periscope. I dont know where they got that from.

All ya gotta do is be careful where ya put yer hands, James! :D

On the other hand, a good jolt of 120VAC once in a while probably re-aligns the brain cells. That's what I've always told myself, anyway. I had a light bulk detach from the base while I was uncrewing it to change it the other day. Made a fantastic flash when it arced, and scared the Indian chick half to death. I think she thought I was gonna fall off the chair dead.

Heh. Its not the voltage you have to worry about. Its the frequency! 60hz is just a tingle. 400hz, however... thats one Im glad has never reached out and touched me.

Whatever for?
Sooooo....I guess I'll go clean the kitchen....

My water is still cloudy looking. blech. I added good bacteria, waiting to see if it helps before I dump any chemicals in there. The fish are happy and healthy, but I'd like it to look better before pics.

Waiting for Sonny to come help with the waterfall....

Also do you all meter your batteries?
I do, almost all the time. I want to know when they start not charging all the way so I know when to replace them.

So they sent us help new guy that doesn't know what he's doing. So we have to stop what were doing every 5 min to help him out. Tell me were that's help? 55 in Q. I love my job.
We have one guy on the window that's been there almost 25 years. He's only been on the window for about 3 years. He doesn't "get" computers, and when you explain stuff to him, he's the type that nods his head and says "yeah, OK" and has no clue what you just said. He had the customer from hell today. The guy wanted a $190 money order for Canada, but didn't say until after it printed that he wanted it payable in Canadian dollars. Ours don't work that way, they are payable in US dollars. Jim told him yeah sure. The guy reads the money order, it says payable in $US. It takes Jim about an hour, 2 acts of Congress, a phone call to the USPS "help" :)lol:) line, and dragging the supervisor up there to refund the stupid money order. In the meantime, Larry is taking all the passport customers while I help all the regular customers with stamps and mailing and stuff.

The worst part is the guy came back about a half hour later asking where his tracking number was for a Priority envelope he had just mailed to Canada. We don't offer tracking on international Priority, you'd have to use Express mail. I stopped listening at that point. :glare:

Sometimes people just suck, and are insensitive,! I giess i get my feelings hurt too easily. That is all.

Who hurt your feelings? I will call them...
Me too, And if they aren't too far I can visit them. :grr:
