That's not good...Is it like a sinkhole or just where the kick stand is?

I survived another Monday! It really wasn't too bad at work. I did forget to bring my plastic foot to put under my kickstand on the bike though. I kept looking out the window to see if it fell over. When it's this hot, the blacktop melts and the kickstand sinks in.

A couple people said I was goofy for riding in this heat. They don't realize I have no A/C in my Jeep, so the bike is actually cooler, as long as I don't have to sit in traffic.

Waiting for the heat to drop another degree or 2 so I can go out and cut at least the front yard. I've been losing Xena when I take her out to pee.

WTH? UPS is usually pretty good at getting it there...

We're finally back. Long, long drive. And the battle with the new UPS driver continues. Today he delivered ONE of the two boxes I was expecting. Ugh. Mr. V will call UPS in the morning, I can not be trusted to be polite.

Weather here in Ga today went from sunny, hot, humid, down pouring rain, sticky and muggy.

Ruger hates the grass when its high. He hops through it.

Its a miracle...my eBay watch list is currently empty.

Just where the kickstand is. They just repaved the lot last year, so it hasn't been really packed down yet. It's normal for asphalt to get soft when it hits the 90's though, so I have this little bright orange foot-shaped plastic thing to put under it.

Dang, I finished the front yard about 8:00, took a shower, and I'm still drippy. Good news is I don't have to wear pants!

After being way too busy today, I told the wife that I would be leaving at 7:00, just so I can try to get caught up. Then she called at 3:00 and said she was taking the kids to my dad's so they could swim. By 6:00, I was being told that we were eating dinner over there... Who am I to turn down free food?

Now we're back home trying to herd the kids to bed.

Garden grown 'maters. Instant 'taters. Home grown cucumber. Canned biscuits. Fried squash (homegrown). And pot roast (not home grown). dessert was a REALLY good watermelon.
