Mr. V says it adds to my witchdoctor look. My grandmother had it too. I used to have it colored, now I just leave it be.
I'm jealous. I wish I had a silver streak, then I would stick with my natural color. Instead my hair just has strands of grey all over the place. Makes my hair look dull.

I have a wide swath of Gray in the front right where I part it. I got it when Jimmy went to Iraq the first time...I feel like Cruella DeVille...No amount of color covers it so I now wear it proudly in honor of Jimmy coming home safely..Bah hahahaha.I'd get rid of it in a heartbeat if it were possible...

Well, I'm getting ready for my hair appointment.

Last week I decided to dye my hair drug-store-blonde, you know, the box stuff. I'd never tried to go blonde, usually I go for reds when I want a change, so I figured, why not?

Heh. Some things are best left to the pros. And no, there will be no pics of my brassy orange hair. I feel like Ronald effing McDonald. Bring on the giant red shoes.

So... I'm getting it fixed today, and my stylist suggested that if I want to have fun with some color, I should really add some color. I'm now deciding between blonde with hot pink tips (or under layer, still undecided) or blonde with blue tips.

Pink would probably look better. Of course I could be trading one disaster for another here, but I trust my stylist. He's like an ombré genius. I've seen his work. Beautiful.

Decisions decisions.

Sorry for the girly talk. Well, not really. :p ;)
Oh come on. Sallie shaved her head, you can post a pic of the orange!!!

Have three days of deliveries delivered to his parking spot and see if he gets the point.

If he worked in the same building, that would be a great idea. Unfortunately, he works in our corporate offices across town. Personally, I hope it stays that way.

OMG, I ended up eggplant purple once. I called in ugly to work and went to a salon.

I love the way you think.

Morning posse!
:lol:called in ugly to work:lol: I wonder if that would work for me, too....hm....

When I got my first one, I named it Sonny. There are quite a few Sonny's in my stripe now.
Kat takes great pleasure in pointing out new gray hairs in my beard and on my head. Until I remind her that I had no gray at all until I had kids.

Here. Have a Margarita.Problem solved...

Wine would be better. Unfortunately, I'm all out.

Pre-lunch check in.

The one on one went as well as I expected. I was informed that our Douche Canoe is wanting to make changes, but my manager is fighting them. He wants to run Charlotte the way he did Greensboro (a smaller city geographically, and from a network standpoint). To put it into perspective, we have four installation techs. Each tech does, on average, three installations per day, for a total of 12 installations daily. Greesboro does 3 installations per WEEK. And they have 3 techs to do it. What Douche Canoe wants to do, is to have all of my shippments delivered twice a week so I could be in the field 3 days per week. In theory, it works. With a small city, it works. But to do that here, its stupid. I would HATE to see what these two delivery days would look like. Friday, Monday, and Tuesdays all delivered be delivered in one day. I can barely keep up with one day's worth of shipments. There is no way in hell I could keep up with three days worth in one delivery. My manager knows this. He's seen how much we get daily. I just hope he can convince Douche Canoe....

I don't like douche canoe!!!

Pink, definitely pink.

I had an orange oops once. Not a good look on me. I leave it to the professionals now.

Not quite... not this time anyway. I have before, almost, if 1/2 inch or less all the way around qualifies.

That's definitely short.

My I foul mood has subsided a bit. Now I'm just irritable. Trying to keep busy and work off whatever this frustration is. So far I've cleaned my sisters house, came home and did some more sanding on the table and then put the first coat of primer on. Cleaned the kitchen, now about to vacuum and op. Then I need to hang up the shower curtain and put out the decorative towels I bought to match. I have at least 2 loads of laundry to fold. By then it'll be time for supper. I'm thinking Chinese.

I'm sooooo looking forward to my get away in two weeks to Cherokee, NC. Going to Harrahs to play the nickel spots.

I may have told this before so I will apologize in advance if I have. Speaking of hair cuts I have to tell you this true story. Mrs Punkin would cut my hair at home with a do-it-yourself clipper and a scissors. We had been doing this for quite a few years since there wasn't much to cut and I couldn't see spending $$$ for a couple of a minute professional haircut. This particular time was no different then the last. She asked me if I wanted a No.1 or a No. 2 attachment for the sides and back (there is nothing on the top.) I replied, a No. 2 please because a No. 1 will cut it real short. She proceeds to clip away and mentioned how the clippers were cutting really well this time. OK, all done. I started to clean up and noticed both the No. 1 and No. 2 attachment still on the table. I asked here which attachment she used for this haircut. There was silence. Yep, you guessed it, the shortest haircut I have gotten since boot camp! She was upset but I just told her it will grow back (some year.) Every once in a while when she goes to the hair dresser I'll say, if ya wanna save a few bucks I can give you a hair cut! :p
