I like having my coffee on the deck. I went to take a drink and there was a huge spider in my mug. *still gagging*

Ewwww! And I liked that to agree with the gagging, not that I liked the spider in your mug.

I finally stopped on the way home from work today and got Xena a little plastic pool - in pink no less! It had a big Disney sticker (Minnie Mouse I think) stuck inside, but it came out very easily. It will have to wait for tomorrow because the neighbor is cutting their grass and I think that would scare her.

I feel sorry for you guys with the lower back problems. :( Mine are up higher, T2, 3 and 4. All 3 are compressed, and one was pretty much crushed. I'm not having much trouble with it, so I'm very glad I took a "wait and see" approach to the surgery that was suggested.

I got some cool vape mail today from a co-op! I got a backup MVP and an iTaste VV/VW. I'm waiting for it to cool down after getting it out of the mailbox before I try it out. :)

I just went to the store for some ice cream and nuts and found the bacon jerky. I bought two bags. When I got home you'd have thought I'd brought home the winning lotto ticket by hubbys reaction. I only got two pieces out of two bags but it was. Very, very good!!

I was able to squeeze in a short nap. Very short. Better than nothing.

I can't wait to hear your reaction to the VV/VW. It's on my maybe list. Based on what you think it might get moved to the gotta have list.

Was that in Wally World? I'm going to have to find some of that! :)

My impressions so far is that it's extremely similar to the MVP, just a bit smaller. I need to play more with the VW setting, this is the first mod I have with it.

Pics of Xena in her pool please!!!

And of the new mods of course.
Oh yes! I'll get some pics of her tomorrow, assuming she doesn't freak out and actually likes it. :)

Yeah, I'm not telling hubby about bacon jerky. If I do we'll have cases of it and I'll be 1000 pounds in no time flat!

My dogs all turned up their noses at a pool, or ran in abject terror (Simon). If anything they reacted more like Max and wanted to drag it around the lawn, or ran in abject terror (Simon). Of course these are the dogs who refused to get in the water, or on the boat (Simon), on vacation too. :glare: Except Grimm, he's my good sport. When he wants to be. Which isn't as often as I'd like it to be. :glare:

Well, it was only about $9, and I could always use it for the grandkids, so no problem if she doesn't like it. :) I hope she does though, it would be nice for her to be able to cool off.

My MVP won't fit in my stand. I'm thinking of putting my stand in the classies. I don't use it much.

The one we bought was about the same. I figured it was a crap shoot. My dogs are weird. I hope Xena likes her's though, I'd love to see pictures of her in it! :)

And the fun continues at home. Im sitting down, finishing up dinner, and my wife is in the kitchen cutting up a watermelon that she got on sale for $2. She's using one of my large kitchen knives. Yep.... you guessed it... I heard the sound of enough air being sucked through her teeth to create a negative air pressure in the house as my ears pop from the sudden pressure change... I sit my drink down because I know what that sounds means. She calls out as Im trying to roll off of the couch "JAMES! I CUT MY FINGER." At this point, Im still trying to stand up, and she says "James, I need you in here NOW." I move as fast as I can, which, right now is almost a stop, and shuffle into the kitchen expecting to see my watermelon ruined with a finger sitting in the tupperware. She has her hand under the faucet, all five finger still attached, not looking at her hand. She's gone pale, her teeth are starting to chatter.... she's literally about to pass out. I take her hand out of the running water, and I had to stifle a laugh (which she didnt notice) and I rolled my eyes (again she didnt notice). Turn the water off and hand her a paper towel to apply direct pressure to the 1/8 inch nick on her finger. At this, her knees buckle, and this is when the fun begins. Keep in mind, I cant stand up without my back shooting excruciating waves of pain through my back and my leg, and now I find myself trying to support my wife's full weight. No, she's not fat, by any means, but she's not MommyOfDoom tiny either. She lays her head down in an attempt to maintain consciousness while I put a bandaid around the cut. She calms down and goes to lay on the couch. As Im putting away the bandaids, she runs back into the dining room and sits down and puts her head on her arm with her finger stuck out too me. She said "Nope. Nuh uh. That wont work..." You could see the blood through the bandaid. Ungh... So I put a second one over just so she couldnt see it... Then she tried to stand up.... again, her knees buckled, and I had to half carry her, this time to the bedroom, because lets face it... if she did pass out, she would hit the floor.

What kills me about this, is the fact I have told her MANY many times to keep her free hand BEHIND the direction of cutting when using a knife. Maybe now, she'll listen.

Oh, and she's a hemo-phobe. She almost always passes out when she sees blood (usually just her own though).

For the most part, my back doesnt usually bother me. But the last couple of days have been inexplicably tortuous. Ive been walking around the warehouse all day lookin' like an 80 year old man... hunched over and a shuffling gait.

Ice cream and bacon jerky! Sounds like a perfect dessert! And I would have beat my wife and kids STUPID if I was only left with two pieces out of two bags. Then again, I wouldve bought four bags, and only brought two in the house.
