Morning. Wow Tiff the kids down there start school early. Up here its the end of August.

Sent from Drott's dog shack

They get a lot of breaks through out the year though.

Good morning all!

Its amazing how well rested you feel after a decent night of sleep after only an 8 hour work day!

It was pouring down rain when I woke up this morning, so knowing traffic would be crap, I left the house about ten minutes early. Oddly enough, I managed to get to work only five minutes late. "Instant idiots. Just add water."

Of course, it was still raining when I got to work.... and I had to take out the trash. I look like I just stepped out of the shower with my clothes on. At least it isnt a cold rain.

And I get to head across town later this morning to our corporate offices. We have to go through a health screening. If we dont, they add an additional $1000 to our deductible. :glare: But afterwards, we get lunch, then have to sit through an "All Hands" meeting. And darn the luck, since I cant work OT, I will have to go home pretty much as soon as the meeting is over. Awww.... no work is going to get done today. Drats. If the lack of OT didnt affect my paycheck, the situation would be funny!

I hope everyone has a great day today!

Good luck with the health screening.

What? School starts tomorrow?

Today...yep....

I came home from dropping the kids off and went back to sleep. I was just so tired my eyelids were heavy. Now I'm up and need to make a trip to the PO, bank and then pick the kids back up. I'll have to make a list of what they need for supplies then go back out and get them. Walmart or Target I guess.

That's O.K. I was finished...
I hate to interrupt the Stretchy page, you're doing so well on your own. Running to Portage to drop off Mr. V's car. For some odd reason it just stops. No warning, just stops. Off to Ford, back in a bit.

It feels good to have my car out of the garage, finally. :D

Nice chickens Drott!

Stretchy, I thought about it while I was hanging out at Ford. When we lived in the city, I hired a poop scooping service. A man came and scooped my yard twice a week. It didn't cost that much, and to me, having some guy clean up after two huge dogs for me was priceless. You might want to check and see if there is a service that would do yours.

Yep, we are back. We stopped at Hellmart because I lost my last dreads tie back and needed a package of them. While we were there we rescued the 5 bony koi they had for sale. One is not doing well, but hopefully it will make it. They really should feed the fish there every now and then. Poor things. They are in my little pond by the kitchen window. I also remembered how much I really hate that store... screaming kids, yelling parents, pushy people. blech.

And yes, I am back to my same old crabby self today. It feels good.

Health screen completed. Mrs E's cholesterol is still scary high. I warned her about it too... Last year, she got the results back and went on this hard core low cholesterol diet... after a couple of months, it feel to the wayside. I told her she needed to work on her moderation and keep up with it... She didnt. Now she's got to go to the doctor and probably get put on meds to help with it.

As far as Im concerned, I am a portrait of nearly perfect health. Im "obese", but my height and large frame means that "obese" really isnt "obese"... More like "overweight". Bleh. I knew that. I know Im a fat kid, and Im not giving up my ice cream. My "good" cholesterol is way too low, but my "bad" cholesterol is too. So my overall cholesterol numbers are perfect. My glucose is perfect (which is great, seeing as diabetes runs rampant on both sides of my family).

Time to get out of here and head to the coaches meeting. If Im reading the schedule right, practices start next week!

I bit the bullet and called a landscaper today.Mr.??? believe it or not has that shoulder thing going on like FV.He got a cortisone shot last week with more to look forward to in the future. His is genetic. Some kind of defect similar to the one in his bran that makes him a PITA...But I digress. He can't shovel sh#t anymore and I never could.Sooooo I called a landscaper.I have $800.00 to spend. I'm figuing that will buy a bush...Well it's a start....

I am making DECONSTRUCTED (Bobby Flay) Shish Kebabs because I cannot find enough Shish's with which to kebab them...Good Tmes...
Guess what's about to get posted in the Stretchy thread!!!
