Happy Friday morning all!!!
Today is going to be a blissfully unproductive day! Im about to leave to take our scrap copper to the recycling center. My wife is bringing the kids up here before lunch, join me for lunch, then hang out after. We have a lot of running around to get done today when I get off work. Then it will be time to go to lunch at an Italian place Ive never been to for a co-worker's going away party. Then I have to leave them here so I can go remove some equipment from a customer that moved but didnt disconnect their service. Then it will be time to go home!

No more cold pizza for you before bedtime.Well, we are driving down this old deserted road at like 12am and we get caught in traffic, now this is like a two lane road and practically just a dirt road, we are only moving about a quarter mile every hour. I look at the clock and see it is 2am and then BAM! There is this giant stretchy chicken statue by the side if the road. I'm like oh oh oh food, turn here! We get down the super long drive way and there is this huge fenced in area with HUNDREDS of chickens. I find the house, and I swear it is a comical little shack/hut. I'm look at chips and I tell her we found FV. She laughs and says we are no where near you. I go in the pen with the chickens and sit in a chair and all of a sudden Victor jumps in my lap and is drooling all over me. We are playing fetch and it starts storming so we had into the shack. Trying to be very quiet and not wake you and Mr.V but Victor starts going nuts and knocking every thing over and you guys come out of the room and I scream please don't shoot! Mr.V busts out laughing in his BFPJ's and in walks the classic witch doctor avatar. You start ooga booga-ing Victor and dancing around him. Mr.V explains you were putting a hex on him for waking you up.
I woke my self up laughing.

Ok... I cant even think of a way to defend him on this one...I stopped at the hut after getting my car. I had made a barricade of dining room chairs all around the baby chicken brooder. Victor did manage to move them all, and there are nose prints on the glass.
The hut looks like a game of duck, duck, goose gone wrong....
You know its Jessie.I'm going to cry now.

And I just hired a chicken sitter for while we are gone this weekend. Payment is use of the bass boat and the hut while were gone. I think Sonny got a good deal....

The checkout will close today at 4, it will open back up Monday morning. We shut it down now for the weekends, so that we can have weekends. Not that we have fun while we're off, right now all our time is spent working on the huts. blech.
Love me some house blend. Copper creek saved my .... this week. Placed an order while on vacation so I had it shipping to me in Maine. When I realized I was going to have to leave before it got here i emailed them and asked to had it shipped to my house instead. They replied right away and made the adjustment.
I love my house blend but a 6 hour drive to go pick it up would of been a bit rough. I've seen some suppliers simply say "sorry once you order it we can't change anything".

The way they pay us now is through a payroll company so my checks take longer....
It gets annoying. Especially when they pay me some random check that I wasn't supposed to receive and then remove the money from my account and the bank freezes it.
