Heya Drott, how do your silkies do over the winter? Kinda worried about Lil Stretchy in the snow.

This will be the 1st year I try to winter them.( silkies). Normally hatch them for sale. But got eggs from show silkies so decided to keep. but I know not why since I had to sell off the Roos.

Last time I had chickens there were horses to keep the barn warm. This is my first winter with just the peeps. Putting insulation in the shed, hopefully the polish will know to come inside. They're really cute and super friendly, but not the smartest of my gals. They tend to panic and dash around aimlessly. Mr. V says that looks familiar.
