Luck of the draw.:lol: Were you a good boy today??
Mrs Punkin just came by and said she would like to give me a hair cut/trim to show her appreciation for going with her to the shoe store. Humm, you guys do remember the story I told you about the last haircut she gave me. I'm trying to figure out if she thinks I need a trim for next weeks shopping extravaganza or another buzz cut is in the cards for me...

Good ? Their hard I wait for the crow on Silkies. FV Their not big enough for freezer camp yet.
What she said!

Drott, how can tell which silkies are pullets? They all look the same, fluffy and cute.

I wouldn't think they would be crowing yet.But.
Silkies can be quite late to mature (perhaps as much as 8 or 9 months old). Because they take so long to develop it is very hard to know if your silkie chicks are cockerels or pullets, particularly if they are not from the same genetic line. Silkie cockerels tend to be bigger in size and the comb will usually develop sooner than on a pullet but the first more obvious sign is at around 4-6 months when their hackles start to develop ’streamers’. Even so it is often not 100% certain until they begin to crow or lay an egg.

By the time the cottons are 8-9 months old, I'll be too attached to them. Guess they stay. Sonny stopped over to say Hi today, he said I'm growing my own cotton balls.

My facepalm moment of the day was going to pick up Morgan from school, getting half way there and remembering she had a game to play in the band at tonight and I wasn't supposed to get her til 7:30. BUT, I was back home for 10 minutes when she called and said that they weren't playing afterall so off I went again to pick her up.

The meeting went ok. I'm a little concerned about a few things but it's just a matter of trying them and seeing if it will work. One thing I disagreed with in the report was that the behavior analyst said that since Alex has language skills (unlike some with Autism), he wasn't using behavior to communicate. WHAT?! ALL behavior is a form of communication whether your verbal or not. And the behavior analyst wasn't even at the meeting. Again, WHAT?! He wrote the report so where the heck are you to help write a behavior intervention plan? The special ed coordinator had notes on what he suggested as a plan. First, he is going to go half days for a while. The sum of it is that the more appropriate behavior, like finishing his work, not asking to leave class to call me, then the more time he gets to spend out of class in a preferred setting or getting to call me. Ummm, I thought that was what we were doing before he went on home bound. That's SUPPOSED to be what we were doing. I guess they weren't. Instead of him calling me then his parapro would text me. I won't bore you with any more of it but lets just say it's gonna get worse before it gets better.

Hubby was supposed to be on leave tomorrow but it got canceled due to the gov't shutdown. This means he works tomorrow, leaves Thursday to go hunting until Saturday, then leaves again Sunday for work for two days. Ugh.

Tonight I will be draining a glass of wine. Or two.

Aww Yes the good old days...The ol here take a C note and knock yourself out...I miss those days too.Now I have to pay for everything myself. That just sucks....But...You may be home free We ladie love online shopping so if you could show her how to browse Amazon you may not have to go anywhere..The only problem is it's open 24/7. If she has a hard time falling asleep Watch Out..The old Master Card fills up fast...

Just got back from shoe shopping. Little did I know that it would be close to the same amount of enjoyment I get when I go Grrrr shopping. Mrs Punkin wanted a new pair of shoes and since she doesn't drive anymore guess who got to go along. At least I was smart enough to take the Kindle along to keep me occupied. :) She said next week is shopping for winter clothing. You got to be sh!tt!ng me! 8-o I'll have to find a store that has a bar close by that serves Jamesons... I remember the good old days, just give her some money and say, "see ya later, have fun..."

 Mr.???? didn't trust me either only it was the other way.He would always get mad and say How come every time we leave the house we have to go out to eat..My reply was.We have been 28 years when will you get it that I don't cook...

Sorry PD. I had to like it... only because I understand. Mrs E drives, but she never tells me when we leave that shopping is on her agenda. She'll offer to go out for dinner. And me being a fat kid, I dont hesitate. THen after dinner, she races me back to the car to get behind the wheel, knowing that Im full and fat and cant run, then will shenghai me and the kids to some random store. Now when she asks if I want to go out, Im alway nervous about shopping, but I cant turn down a meal.
