Awwww I'm glad you're having fun with your Chickies...
I'm still using mine, but keeping a closer eye on them.

Every day that it's nice outside I put the babies in their playpen on the lawn. The playpen gets moved every day so that there is fresh grass under it. Anyhoo, after weeks of running back and forth carrying them twice a day, or trying to herd 11 birds that are all going different directions, today when I opened their coop door they all ran for the playpen! Tonight they ran back to their coop. I am so impressed with them, they are getting it. Of course I did have to catch a few and snuggle them. :)

The MVP's? You might be able to take them to the office supply store, they usually have a bin for batteries there. Please tell me it didn't ruin your beautiful tanks.

These not so relaxing weekends are starting to wear me down. Thankfully, I only have a two day work week. Tomorrow, I get to leave work, and go to watch Melanie play a game. Then Tuesday, I get to leave work, get my hair cut, and go watch Melanie play a game. I also get to try to schedule four practices for my team that I wont be able to make it to. And I still need to collect money from half my team for the post season cookout.

We're leaving for the airport at like 6:00 Wednesday morning. With all three kids. This ought to be one hell of an adventure. Ungh. But, then its three days in southern California. We'll have all day Thursday, and all day Friday, for whatever we want (minus the wedding rehearsal). Then the wedding is Saturday, and we leave LAX late Sunday morning. I took next Monday off to unpack and relax for a couple of hours.

Furniture repairing? What happened?
My dad and step mom go to an auction every so often. Last weekend, they saw a dresser that the auctioneer wasnt going to put across the block because his "guy" really screwed up when he put it together. Its like a $300 dresser from Sears. During one of the breaks, my dad went up to the auctioneer/auction owner and asked what he was going to do with it. After he explained what happened and why he wasnt selling it, my dad asked how much would it cost for him to break even on it. The guy replied $50. Dad said "sold" knowing that we needed a new dresser for one of the kids. The next morning, I went to go look at it and pick up. The guy did a number on it, thats for sure. I had to take about half of it apart. Fix what he screwed up, install hardware he didnt, and then get it all back together the right way. One of the slide rails on a drawer had its bearings pop out, so I had to struggle with that fine bit of engineering. BUT... Its all back together as well as it can be, and it actually looks pretty good.

You might want to put a paper bag over your head when you say that.

At least they got a win!

Even the Panthers got a win!

AND Green Bay got a win!

Im still not sure why the Bears BARELY won.

Pats and Saints had to have been the best game though. VERY close game!

Isn't it funny.Last week I was all about the Apple Cider now I can't put HOUSE down..
I never put House down. Ever.

Hello, just got done making chili, letting it simmer some. This might be my first with out deer in it. I am not going to write anything off yet, I like the idea of the MVP. I like the huge battery, I like that I can use the huge battery for more than just vaping if the need arises. I like a whole lot about it... That said, I have recently learned of the DNA20, I think a titanium mod may be in my future. I do get frustrated easily, but mostly by poor performing things I have bought. I take a ton of pride in my work, as I am sure you all do also. For something to fail before even using is completely unacceptable in my eyes. The best solution is to do it myself. Then the only one I have to blame is me. After I master it I will be sure to send you one FV. It will take a while though.

Good morning. I've been up a while but did sleep in a bit. Its in the high 50's here but overcast. Hubby and Alex are going fishing. Yes, you read that correctly, Alex is leaving the house to do something. I'm not sure what Morgan and I plan to do today. Probably nothing. She's still asleep. I need to go wake her up because she'll sleep til 1 if I let her. Guess I'll go clean the kitchen. Hope this Monday treats everyone well.

I couldn't sleep to good either, why my night owl .... is up at 9am. The mail man can't get here soon enough. I learned it is 127 steps to the mail box. I hope everybody has an awesome Monday. Fall fishing is actually great usually, I guess the fish realize winter is coming and try to fatten up before the lakes freeze... just my idea of why, I don't know if it's true.
