Ooooh! Pics please!!!!
Funny how that happens, one shiny new thing always leads to at least two more. Mr. V is concerned, I bought the new tiles to go under the woodstove and mentioned how crappy the rest of the floors will look now....

MVP all the way...I love mine. The battery lasts FOREVER between charges and I'm a heavy vaper.Mine is like a pacifier.I can't even go into another room without it...
Good morning
My wife has been battling her blood pressure since the baby was born. It goes up, goes down, it hit scary numbers right after the baby was born, I think it was 140/210. Now we are having issues getting it below 100. Just when we think it is fine, goes right back up. Sad part is she isn't even 30 yet...

Yep my battery is dead. It takes a charge for a draw or two then nothing. This is going to get annoying, quick. I will need to get another battery this weekend, if the finances say it's ok, I am thinking an MVP or maybe a vamo. Not sure, what do y'all think?

I think you made a terrific choice...Now Alex can feel safe and still get his education.

Not to put a damper on our happy home here but this is what we have finally decided and why. We are going to home school Alex for the remainder of his 11th grade year and probably his 12th grade year as well.
Based on what happened yesterday and some other things that happened a couple of weeks ago, not to mention his dramatic decline since the beginning of last school year, we think this is what is best. It will allow us to more closely work with him on his specific issues and give him an education, which has been severely lacking this year.

In a more calm and concise way I can point out what happened yesterday that upset me so bad.

The school resource officer told Alex to "go to class or go to jail" while he is sitting in a fetal position, rocking on the floor. That is classic stemming behavior of a child with autism when they are very upset.

The principal told me that I can't diagnose him, a doctor has to. He should have already known that he has an official diagnosis if he is involved with Alex.

The resource officer said next time he will take him to juvenile/arrest him if he doesn't go to class. I asked under what basis and was told "disruption of school".

The same resource officer also told me that Alex was "beyond therapy" for his issues.

They suggested putting him in a "psychoeducational facility" during the day for school, which is a state funded school that isn't fit for your worst enemy. I've dealt with many people when I did advocacy work and you wouldn't believe some of the things that happen in these places. He was in one when he was 6, before we knew better, and I was observing the class in a separate room with a one way window. A school social worker was with me. We witnessed the teacher drag Alex across the floor by his elbow for not getting in line and going to the cafeteria when asked. She said to him "I'm not waiting on you all day". When I say drag, I mean his little feet were skipping across the floor. He didn't have his feet under him. He went home with me that day and never went back. That was when we homeschooled for the first time.

They all told me that none of this behavior has anything to do and does not stem from the Asperger's. Bull!!!!

The good things that are coming out of this are that we can hopefully get him to do therapy more than once a week without time constraints. Also, the school still has finish the eval by law.

Maybe this explains my mild hysteria yesterday and major vent on here. This isn't going to be an easy endeavor but hubby and I think that this is the best and only option available to us now.

Thank you all for being my friends.

Here's the thing about vaping besides being a way off cigs...vaping can be sooooo much cheaper once you have a set up.Then all you have to buy is juice a pack or 2 of cartos and a new batt every now and again. Some of us ..ahem..have made it into a hobby and like anything else it can be costly but if you stick with the good equipment. It can save you hundreds of dollars because smoking REAL cigs is stupid expensive.Posse People want you to succeed dammit...

I must post how thankful I am, first the stainless from FV, now a gift from Bamrz. You all are the greatest on earth. I am truly appreciative. With all the problems I have had with vaping, I have questioned if it was worth it. That said, I owe you all the world.
My daughter, who is 4 1/2 has been asking a lot of questions about why mommy wants to be like daddy. Mrs. G has been tring her best to explain how bad cigarettes are for people. And thats when we learned that she believed all grown-ups smoked and that she couldn't wait till she was 16 to smoke cigarettes. It blew my mind... I just thank all of you for your generosity and support. You may have just saved my daughters life as well as my wife and mine.

Another posse success story...Keep em coming..
We're always happy to help. We may not be normal, but for the most part we're nice.* I was vaping for over a year before Sonny agreed to give it a try. I hated that he smoked, what a fine example I set for him. Anyhoo, I am so happy he vapes now. He hasn't smoked in over a year now. Woo Hoo!!!!

*except for dealing with stupid people, then we're not so nice.

When you walked into my moms house there was always a hazy smoke fog that permeated the room. You could actually see it. It was what I remembered as a kid growing up..I didn't know any different.EVERYONE smoked...

When I was a kid, pretty much all adults did smoke. I hated it, hated the smell, hated when I had to ride in the car. My mom chain smoked cigs and my dad smoked stinky azz cigars, and I wasn't allowed to even crack the window open. :( I was soooo stupid to start.

I started smoking as a teenager..I'm talking 13..Yeah stupid...My mom didn't know until I was a Sr. in high school.Someone told on me.She sat me down in our smoke filled living room and said"Cathy...Do you smoke?"..I just looked at her. She said "I got a phone call from someone saying they saw you smoking" I didn't say anything..She said "I want the truth and if you smoke I want you to just smoke in the house..not on the street".So I looked at her and said..I do smoke mom." She beat he wholly sh** out of me and grounded me for a month..

My uncle Norman smoked a pipe, and I loved how it smelled! He also had a handlebar mustache, which I thought was totally cool! :)

Good morning posse! Yep, late checking in today. I got a phone call from a friend that I don't get to talk to very often. We gabbed.

The House pic is just a pic that I found online. I fell in love with it, and wish I knew where it is, I'd visit.

Stretchy, I love that table. It's beautiful.

The sun is shining in hutsville today.

Forgot everything else....
