Sounds like a trip to the grrrrrrrrrr store is in order...Stat..Wasabi Peas and Nutella....8-o
My lab liked onions, and pretty much any crunchy veggie. Oh, and apples too. You're not supposed to give dogs onions though (I found out recently). There's some enzyme in there that messes up their red blood cells.

All I have to munch are some Doritos and wasabi peas, and a teensy bit of Nutella. It's almost bedtime now anyway, so no biggie.

I hope Morgan feels better.

Baby carrots are my dogs fave snack treat..They are nice and crunchy...Rums and I always share a deluxe pizza..I give Dixie some of the cheese....
I see it just fine!

Bamrz, no grapes or raisins for dogs either. It damages their kidneys. (per the vet) Jake LOVES oranges. He can smell you starting to peel one, even in his sleep. It's the fastest he ever moves.

Glad your return flight was uneventful with the exception of Wolfgang Puck...
Good morning everyone.

After seeing that I have 32 pages to catch up on, I have to bypass actually catching up. What'd I miss?

The wedding was awesome. My goofy friend and his just as goofy wife made the ceremony awesome. There are hundreds of pictures on FB that I still havent had the chance to go through yet, but Im looking forward to it during lunch. The reception was awesome. And the post reception party was awesome. Mrs E took the kids to bed at midnight though. Oh well. I was up until 2am Sunday morning. And thats when the REAL fun began.

In the time between the reception and the post reception party, we took the break in festivities to pack as much as we could so all we had to worry about was the few last minute things we needed Sunday morning. We got up at 6am, finished packing, and left for the airport. Got gas in the rental car, got it dropped off with no problems, took the shuttle to the airport, and got checked in to the flight, made it through security with no issues, and sat down at Wolfgang Puck's in the airport for an insanely expensive breakfast. Apparently, LAX doesnt believe in fast food places in the airport. We boarded the flight on time and had no issues. We got to Houston for our layover, and we had an hour between flights. That wasnt enough time to sit down and eat, so, we took the tram to the appropriate terminal, found our gate, oh wait, our gate has changed. Originally, our gate would have been in the middle of the terminal. Our new gate was all the way at the opposite end. We stopped by McDonald's to grab some food since we knew this flight (small jet) would have no food service. We get on the plane, hand the kids their food and we all start eating. Then the co-pilot sticks his head out of the cabin and says that the pilot was going to be late..... his flight wasnt going to land in Houston for an additional 45 minutes, and that meant over an hour for him to get to the plane. So, everyone had to get off the plane and go back to the terminal. Two hours later, the airline decided to put us all on another plane. It was after 11:30 by the time we got home. Since it was so late, we decided to let the kids sleep in a little bit Monday morning. As long as they get to school before 11am, it gets counted as a full day, and Mrs E didnt have to be to work until 10am, so she just took them on her way in. It actually worked out pretty good. I spend the first two hours of my 4 hours of family free time doing laundry. Five loads before I gave up, ate lunch, then took a nap. When Mrs E got home, she resumed the laundry while I took Melanie to Urgent Care. You guessed it... She developed a cough the day we left Charlotte, and by the time we got home, it had turned into a full blown double ear infection. I knew she had to be in pain on the flights with the pressure/altitude changes, but she did really well with it.

Now Im back at work, and Im all caught up on most of my paperwork. Now the real fun begins. Nearly a whole week of crap sitting on the floor that I need to go through. Then, this afternoon, I have a one on one meeting with Douche Canoe where gets to remind me that I dont do anything, how bad I screw up my job, or something along those lines.

I got Alex's home school curriculum set up. He still needs to do a reading and math assessment but I'm not concerned with reading. Last years testing showed he was reading above college level. I just need the math but they were an all in one test so had to pay for both. Now I'm trying to figure out how to work the online software. There's a section for me and a section for him. I'm confused about some of it and sent an email to clarify some of it. You guys know I'm easily confused.

Now I need to put together the portfolio. That's gonna be a chore. I'm anally organized and want things to be perfect when I do them so I'm gonna be spending some time on this. I've gotten a lot done today besides that but feel like I haven't. Why is that?

Mine will beg for tomatoes.

Remember those phones we had for 3 days? I just got a $170 bill. 2 calls, both were dropped as the person said hello. Guess who's going back to US Cellular?

I only liked because of the "guess who's going back" ahhh to be a fly on that wall
