Thats going to be the only way Im going to get one. If, by some miracle, I can get one, it would be the only thing I would get for any of those gift giving occations for a year or three. It aint cheap. By a LOT.

That all sounds distracting.
I doubt I would use the phone/text function. When I ride, I dont want to talk to anyone. But the rearview camera would be nice, and no more distracting that the rearview mirror in a car. It doesnt cover a huge viewing area on the faceshield, just a small corner in the bottom right of it. From what I saw on the demo video, the GPS only flashes up over the image of the camera momentarily. And being able to check GPS, speed, and the area behind you without dropping your eyes or turning your head is a huge bonus. I fell in love with the HUD I had on my '97 Grand Prix GT years ago. I even have an app on my phone that displays your speed with the characters in reverse so you can set your phone on your dash at night, and you can read it by the reflection on the windshield.

Ack! Now Andy's car is sick. :( He's thinking it's the head gasket, which is what I'm guessing is the problem with my Jeep. This bites! And he and Ian could probably handle fixing it if the weather weren't so danged cold. :(

Work was strange today - we didn't get ANY trucks in! No mail got sent to our office, and none got picked up. Only the DHL guy showed up.

The poor carriers had to come back after delivering the parcels from yesterday and load up their trucks with outgoing mail from the window and the mailbox collection, and take them to the one office that WAS getting trucks in. :glare:

Is this bad luck item number three?

I got more accomplished today than in any five days lately. The blue shelf of doom is now officially cleaned off and organized. Lots of ebay stuff is ready for listing. Ran errands, made a batch of soap, put together my dress form that came in. And I love it! It's sitting proudly in my sewing corner, which is neat and organized. Laundry got done and actually folded too. Tomorrow I clean my granny's house.

We're getting more of the same through Friday so be prepared...We're expecting 6 more inches and freezing temps...
I'm baaacckk... Done. Survived til the next time. Saving pennies for the neighbor kids. Could be a while to get enough though... I had to take a warm shower just to thaw out. It sure is pretty out there! Snow blindness and hypothermia make you say weird things and just keep rambling on...

(Oh, I had a warm hat AND a hood over my bald head.) :)

I need that just for around the house...Link

found the most kickazz motorcycle helmet Ive ever seen. It has bluetooth for music, phone calls, and texts, GPS, and a rearview camera with a 180 degree field of view and it can display it ALL on a HUD on the inside of the faceshield, and its controlled by voice commands. I also saw another little HUD unit that attaches to the outside of almost any full faced helmet. Im trying to convince my wife to get the helmet for me once it releases for my annibirthmas.
