Agreed. It's the same guy that was cutting down trees on our land. We had to get the survey papers out to prove to him that he was trespassing. He still didn't believe us, and he paid to have a survey done on his land. Yep buddy, you just paid $500 to find out that we were right. See the flags on the posts from our original survey? With the name of the survey company on them? That would be the boundary. He told us we could have the firewood he cut. Gee thanks. They were our trees to begin with. Stupid. Just stupid.
I have an idiot neighbor too.

The guy that lived there before him insisted on cutting a mower's width of grass on our side of his driveway. For umpteen years (parents bought the house new) we cut everything on our side until he moved there. New(er) guy has continued to do it. Even though when they did the survey before I put my fence in, the stake was
6 inches from his driveway. I should insist he only cut what is his!
On the other side, there is a pin set in the cement about 8 inches into the other neighbor's driveway. So on that side, our property line is being parked on.
Update again on doctor - I have ar
thritis in many places around my body. I do not wish anyone the enormous amount of pain it gives my knee. I cannot take any kind of anti imflamatories (advil, naproxin, prescription). So he said I would have to be on narcotics the rest of my life. I do not care to live a life on narcotics. Taking advice and getting a second opinion. Or as my friend and maybe someone on here said, three or four opinions!
I'll be here on and off all day!
So Tiff, who is it, me or you???
Janie, really, get some glucosamine and chondroitin!! You can find it in the vitamin section, and it really does work wonders for your joints! It won't hurt you, and you need to take it for a week or 2 before you start noticing a difference. My ex's grandma told me about it and it really does work!
Hi Orkira great to see ya.Ham sounds good to me.Wish I could get away with it.At least I can do ham for Christmas with out complants.
Ham, turkey, duck, my boys never minded what I made for the holidays. As long as there was pie and sweet potatoes.
Hey Drott! I've only got my Dad, FIL, and Hubby to cook for this year for Thanksgiving and they all wanted Ham instead of Turkey so I said what the heck. Plus I really am bad at cooking a Turkey...really bad.
Don't feel bad okra, turkey is really hard to cook to keep it from getting all dry. I have to try the bacon covered one sometime!
Of course. Because rice is easy. And it wont be Uncle Bens or Boil in the Bag either.
I have the hardest time cooking real rice. I use a rice cooker. If I don't, it comes out crunchy.
I haven't made instant rice since I moved away from home and got a microwave. Like James said, 2 parts water, one part rice. I cooked it on high in a covered casserole sitting in a glass pie dish (in case it boiled over), start at 5 minutes and keep adding a minute until all the water is gone. No crunchies!
Now I use a rice cooker!
Question for everyone! What can I add to Creme De Menthe to make it less menthol tasting? I got the huge 120ml bottle that is still almost full when my MIL passed away and its just not my cup of tea... no offense to you V!
Okra, PM me!! I love CDM, and I might have something to trade, depending on what strength you have?
