You sure had a busy night. Only one more day til the weekend.

How exactly do you pitch to yourself?

You're dinner sounds yummier than mine.:D

Mrs E is in bed. I got tired of listening to her complain about everything so just asked her to go to bed. It worked!

I decided to take just Kat to the ball field today and worked with her on the different signs that her coach does. Worked a little bit with the bunt fake that she got fussed at for last night. Then I let her bat for a bit. Then of course, I got to bat. Ive really got to get her turned into a better pitcher. Im tired of pitching to myself!

Came home, made a blackened pork chop sandwich for dinner with a huge plate of homemade potato chips. And I still have enough calories left over for an ice cream sammich!!!

HAHAHA! Well, it COULD have!

Nuh uh! Im here! Now I get to kill it!

One more day, and it cant come and go quickly enough. I think Im going to try to go out again either tomorrow night or Saturday night. Last week away from the family for a few hours was AWESOME. Not that I dont love them, but its nice being able to kick back with some friends and throw back a few beers.

Hold the bat with one hand, throw the ball up with the other, before the ball comes back down, get set in a ready batter position, swing at the appropriate moment.

Hitting isnt the hard part. Hitting it to the only kid in the outfield accurately and consistently is!

If you can make a grilled cheese sandwich, you make make a blackened chop sandwich. Tonight, I used left over pork chops that had been Shake and Baked last night. Diced up the chops, sauteed them in a bit of butter and sprinkled blackened season on. Then just made a grilled cheese with the chop chunks in it. Easy!

You should go out and have some fun! Everyone needs a break.

Hitting the ball would definitely be the problem for me.

See, I would have never have thought to cook it that way. I'd have heated up the pork chop and put it between two slices of bread.

Interesting evening we have here. I don't talk politics or religion to anyone.

FV, I had the same thing for dinner.

I'm home alone for a bit, didn't feel like going to watch AJ run in the dark. Mr. Hubby went up there for a walk & then watch him start and finish - he doesn't run until 9:00 p.m. (what was the coach thinking)?

I was sitting outsdie and the last words from the back neighbor before the slamming of patio door "I hope you fall on your [blank] ..., you are stupidest g** d*** blah blah blah" slam door. Now this was to a second grader. I wan't to take pink gun along with pink axe and go over there and flash them at said mother. No little girl (who never smiles or any other child) should have to listen to that. Flip the coin, the little girl gives it right back.

Now I'm ready to eat another piece of cake, its almost gone, so I might as well keep eating it. AJ doesn't like cake and Mr. Hubby started his diet yesterday.

It's a SmokTech Variable Volt Gripper. Checks ohms (but seems to be a tick off-- .1 or so), 3-6 volts in .1 increments and runs on an 18650. Little bitty powerhouse. Got it for $50.

Session, do you hang out on any Rush forums?

I did years ago. As family, house, bills, and of course WORK started to ramp up, I didn't do it as much. Most of my musician friends all play RUSH, so we chat about it, old stuff, new stuff, touring, etc. I do hit Rush Radio | Listen to Rush Radio 24/7! regularly to stream daily. Sure sure, life is bigger than ONE band, but as a musician, and the level or skill that RUSH has, and one has to have to actually PLAY their material, never ceases to amaze me. They've (as you know) never sold out to a radio friendly format, but started the Anthem label, and just did what they do, and I respect them for that. I probably spend more time looking for abstract, little known songs (hehe search for BattleScar for a kick in the pants), and/or skits, interviews, etc. Such as ......

Omg! That is horrible! What are people thinking? It's not right to talk to anyone like that, especially not a child.

    Good morning , Drott!

Good morning everyone! I'd give almost anything to go back to bed. I must have woken up 5 times last night and each time I had a hard time going back to sleep because I couldn't get this one thought out of my head. Off to start my day. Have a good one everyone!

FRIDAY!!!! The one day of the week that really is an 8 hour day! (I hope!) Not really anything out of the ordinary going on here today. Gonna be hot and humid, air conditioner still isnt fixed, nor have I heard anything about it being fixed. This morning the guys may be taking another trip around the corner of the building for breakfast without me. *sigh* Its ok though. Another pound lost as of this morning. I am offically back to my prevacation weight. 10 down. 25 to go. And just in time for the Holidays to start getting close. That reminds me... I need to start thinking about stockpiling bacon so I can make my smoked turkey breasts and mashed potatoes with bacon. mmmmmmmmmBACONmmmmmmmm

Mrs E will just say "You just went out last week!" So, its going to be a coin toss on if I go out tomorrow or not. Im going to try though.

Nah, hitting isnt so hard. It really is as simple as being able to track/watch the ball. Its when you break that eye contact that will make you miss.

I love most any sandwhich melt. Ive found that I really love blackened tilapia and pork chops are great as a melt. so is the Starkist Hickory Smoked tuna (not blackened).

Yeah, Im sorry about my political rants yesterday. I usually never talk about it, and I apologize for doing so.

I wouldve called DSS on her .... That falls well within the realm of verbal abuse. Some people deserve cruel and unusual punishment.

I reasonably sure I'll kill it, only because its so late.
You didnt kill it! When its that late at night its not dead, just napping. :D
