G'Mornin' y'all!!! Its a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L day. Right now, its 63 degrees outside, only going to be 81 for a high. No rain in the forecast. Every window and door is wide open right now.
Had a good night last night. Got home at about 4:30 or so. Ive realized that I prefer bars that are in NC more than SC. NC passed a law a couple of years ago that made smoking indoors against the law. At the time, and as a smoker, I was less than happy about that. Everyone knows that when you drink, you smoke more. But there are no such laws in SC. I forgot how badly stale cigarette smoke smells. I got home, stripped down, through my clothes in the washing machine, then got in the shower. At 4:30 in the morning. I layed down on the couch by 5. Mrs E doesnt mind me getting in bed that late, but when I get in bed, I sleep so deep, I wouldnt be able to wake up. And since Mrs E had to work this morning, staying in bed wasnt an option. I would wake up to the house torn down to the foundation if I let the kids run free unsupervised.
Im trying to decide if I want to cut the grass today, or sit in the hammock with a book and vape all day. I wish I could take Kat to a ball field. Its just too nice to stay inside today.
Im sorry, I did drive. BUT!!! BUT, the bar closed at 2. We hung out in the parking lot until 4, eating snacks and drinking water. So, I was sufficiently sobered up before I got behind the wheel. Im sure we looked like a bunch of idiots doing our versions of field sobriety checks between 2 and 3am when we were too drunk to drive.
I think its because they are complete ......, they expect you to be a complete ..... too.... .........

Aw Tiff, that is just rotten to the core. I feel so bad for Morgan.I would have knocked Sonny into next week if he treated another child that way. He was the one that always befriended the kids that were different, and stuck up for them.
I don't know how many times I got called to the school because he was in a fight, defending his buddy Joseph.

I'm sure there are. Like you, if I found out one of my kids was being mean to someone another kid, or being disrespectful to another adult, they would be very, very sorry! They have both had lots of problems with being teased and bullied because of their disabilities.

I know it's hard and I know how bad you feel for her.We all do as parents when someone hurts our kids especially when their feelings get hurt.As parents we always want to fix it....Go ahead and cry..It sometimes helps.It may make you stronger the next time.Is there a parents group out there somewhere that you can go to? I am soooooo MAD! Morgan texted a "friend" of hers on my phone to see if she could come over to play. The little twirp just texted her back and said I don't like you and you should get a clue. I responded to it and told her that was uncalled for and I was going to let her mom know if it didn't stop. She said back to me NO! So I sent her mom a copy of the text. I know her mom and not sure if she will actually do anything, and I know kids are going to be mean to eachother. I'm just sick and tired of Morgan being on the receiving end of this $%#@ because she is different. She can't help it. I'm so furious at this point I'm crying.
I said I was going to go do something productive...I haven't gotten there yet. Not sure if it's going to happen anytime soon.

When I first met that woman, I couldnt get over the fact that she was so beautiful, married such a jack hole, and still has a heart of gold. Normally, women that look like that have some serious attitude issues.

I WAS going to let the kids stay outside and play. But after several signs of tired, irritable, demonic children, plus one came really close to lying to me about something that wasnt even worthy of a lie, they are all in bed. Thats making me think a book, LT and House, and a hammock are about to be my best friends for the next two hours.

Some people, adults and children, have no sensitivity. I'm sorry you go through that too, Drott. People have a hard time looking at the inside of a person and spend too much time judging the outside.

Sounds like me.I have one kind I love for work.Last time I went to order them they were discontinued.WTF been ordering them for the past 10 years.
So 4 diff pairs later I finaly found a replacement pr that works.
I was the way too skinny kid, clothes 5 years behind the style, clunky saddle shoes (on stick Legs) and hair of a zombie. It should have had it's own zip code. I got beat up at least once a week. Thanks Mom.
