Good morning all!

The two butts from last night have been made into barbecue. And Ive already fired the grill back up and got the last two butts in the smoke. Still need to cut the grass and bug spray the yard. I know there are other things I need to get done, but I cant remember what they are.... Oops.

Muggy is the word for today. Good morning all.
Here too... at least its not raining at the moment.

Buying is good for the economy. So I hear.

Ive never thought BBQ was that intensive...?

Ive still got about 30 minutes before I start pulling it!

Nah, it isn't. I was just referring to the fact that I have three different barbeques on my patio, and all get used.

Muggy is the word for today. Good morning all.

Here, too. SoCal is rarely muggy, but right now I'm hating life.

Overcast is the word here.

Goooood morning posse! I was supposed to go to the little shop to work today but she just called and there aren't any dogs.:( But I'm going to go tomorrow.:). The big shop I work at is still NOT open again!!!! So this has been about 6 weeks now.:( The owner told me about one more week. I hope we have some clients left!

So today I'll go get groceries. I went to Petco yesterday and got new dog food . Ended up getting Merrick. I think Ruger has more toys than my kids ever did. A bit spoiled. I'm about to place a Petedge order to get some work supplies but I'm also ordering Ruger a camo walking vest and a denim rhinestone collar. Don't laugh, at least its blue.

Need some juice...order that Monday.;). Also need Vivi, pre tank, and evod heads and a new twist. Order that today. Not that anyone gives a hoot what I'm buying but I have no other news to talk about.

Tiff, seriously...a camo vest and a blue denim collar with rhinestones? Ruger will die of embarassment. All the other dogs will laugh at him. THat borders on pet abuse! :D

So we're not enablers...we're patriots. Yeah, that's it...patriots.

If it all gets used, there is no problem at all!

What are the water temps like in SoCal? I'll be in LA in October and was thinking about taking the kids to the beach...

I missed the walking vest comment... I hate seeing dogs in anything other than a collar, BUT I can understand the need for sweaters/jackets for them when you have short haired dogs in....oh...lets say.... Maine. (Sallie made me see the light on that conversation!) But anything beyond the necessary, I do NOT like seeing. The dogs usually look miserable.

Good morning Posse!

You are all way too industrious for me this morning. Hmm, maybe I should go drink some of the coffee I made?? It might help!

And I wish this humidity would give us a few days' break, I feel like I'm back living in Tidewater again.
I dont have a choice. Gotta be ready for tomorrow!

I miss Norfolk/Tidewater/VA Beach. If I could find a job up there, I would be gone in a heartbeat.

You are so wrong...I LOVE when people talk about buying vape stuff and dog accoutrements . It makes me do the same thing and I LOVE shopping...Talk away and then let me know where you bought everything...Sallie, FV. Drott you all need a lap dog to buy rhinestone collars for. It opens up a whole new world.[Puppies for Sale, Dogs for Sale and Dog Breeders

Good morning!

We ended up running around trying to find those little shortcake cups or angel food cake for strawberry shortcake. Who knew they were becoming extinct? Ended up running all the way to Portage, 25 miles, and going into Hellmart. I normally avoid it like the plague, and now I remember why. Anyhoo, right before we left I asked Mr. V if I needed my keys. No, he has his. Are you sure? Yes, let's go! So I double check my battery charger and off we all go. When we got home, as the boys and I are getting out of the car I hear: "Oh Carp!" from the drivers seat. Yes indeed, we are locked out. A half hour later we had broken into our house, which is not easy to do. Needless to say, I will never leave the hut without my keys again. ugh.

Steaks on the grill are planned for tonight, but today is clean the ponds day.

Dixie has a harness dress. Regular harnesses are too heavy and Poms don't do collars. She looks real cute and she likes them...I can just tell..

Ummm do you live in NYC? Does Bloomberg vacation in WI? He hates sugar and he wants you to hate it too.
Yes we now have the sugar police so no smoking and now no desert...You are being saved from yourself.. Be grateful..
Trivia/mini rant: Even at Hellmart the angel food cakes and shortcake cups are sugar free. Since when did I lose the option of sugar in my desert???

The water at the Southern California beaches is nowhere near as warm as the southern Atlantic coast beaches you're used to. A fair guess would be 68 degrees in the summer.

Guess you're all wondering why I am able to use Windows 8 and can actually post.. I had an epiphany ....I can use it because I am technically challenged to begin with so anything new is the same.I can get used to it or find another way around it because I do it that way all the time.

I'm drinking the coffee, still not helping yet...

I don't like the sounds of that. :( I don't do sugar free anything.

Hmmm, a harness dress. :) Do you have a link??

Jake and Victor have matching studded collars with name plates attached. And matching leashes. Stylish, in a tough guy kinda way. Mr. V said the next dog will be a bulldog. No little dresses there either.
I've bought about 5 different harnesses trying to find one that fits and works for Xena. The best one so far is just a plain black web harness. I love the little automatic leash thingy I found for her! It was less than $10 and I don't have to worry about stepping on her leash when we're outside. She likes to stand close to my feet, and I've also had her wrap a regular leash around my leg.
