I worked for the same florist on and off for over 30 years.(I took time off for kids and Soccer)...He was an older man who wore a hearing aid...I come from a long line of people who like to sing but can't..My grandma and mom sang whenever they cleaned or made dinner,at the grocery,on the beach...any freakin where..and I am the same.My boss had a heart attack on me (literally).Following that he decided it was time to retire..A young man from a florist shop came to buy some of his stock and asked me if I wanted to go with the stuff...I'm like sure..Never been called stuff before but I wasn't ready to retire...My first day at work was 911...Yeah.All I wanted to do was leave and all he wanted me to do is work...No singing that day but not too long after it started....He wasn't a designer.He was the office guy and from time to time he would poke his head out and roll his eyes.Sometimes he would stand next to me and glare,other times he threw stuff at me...one time he made me stand outside.It was raining....Yes...yes...I was... wait for it....Singing in the rain...He truly wanted to tear his hair out. No matter what he did I would not stop.I couldn't....I am and was a serial no talent singer...I have quite the repertoire.Everything from George M Cohan to Ludicris....I sing them all...One particular Friday he must not have been able to take it anymore and he put "You are fired for singing during business hours"...in with my check....I could see him poking his head out the door with my Peripheral vision. I put it back in the envelope and left.On Monday I walked back in late (singing) and he as he slammed his office door I heard him sob..It didn't end there....When Mr.??? took a job with the state and I moved to Columbus...He hired my sister..

It rained here again last night. The jewel weed out back is taller than I am. This morning I lost two chickens and a freaking John Deere tractor out there. The chickens came back when I called them, but Mr. V had to dig out the tractor. The ground is so saturated that it just sank. UGH.

I would looooove to do that but I have absolutely no room. We turned our one car garage into a spare/office. It catches the overflow. I have no where for a table. I use the top of my washer on the rare occasion I do groom a dog here. I have no where for extra kennels. My living room already has two for my own dogs. Shrek would have to be crated. I've tried to think of every possible scenario where I can go out Mon my own but haven't found a way. Its a great idea though!

I don't have an ark, but I have a nice loud mom voice! :)

I got taken out to dinner tonight! Ian stopped by and kidnapped me, DIL and kids are down the shore with her mom. So we went to the new Japanese sushi buffet, since DIL doesn't like seafood it works out. It was really good! They even had raw oysters! I am so full, I more than made up for last night! :lol:
