I've been loving my MVP's but I am a little concerned about the battery they use.Do you happen to know?

I stick with the AW IMR's too. I do need to get a few flat tops, so I'm going to have to look into those.

Basically, I stay away from LiIon (lithium ion) totally. These are the ones that will erupt with fire if there's a problem. AW IMR's ( I think they are LiMn) will still vent if shorted, but will release gas not flame. The first thing I check for is what the battery is made from.

For ecigs, we need "high drain" batteries. They are made a bit tougher to handle the extreme demands that vaping requires. Using non high drain will overburden the battery, making it heat up and more prone to failure.

I haven't really checked into the Panasonics or Efests, but I know a lot of people are using them. That doesn't necessarily mean they are safe. If they are LiIon and have a protection circuit, they are safer than if they didn't.

It's a polymer LiIon. They seem to be similar in characteristics to plain LiIon batteries, the main difference being the size/shapes they can come in.

I guess I'll be keeping a closer eye on mine now. One main thing I got from quick reading - DON'T leave them in your hot car!

thank you Bamrz, I had no idea. Mine will no longer hang out in a cup holder while I run into the store.

I use AWR's in all my mods because I think they are safe...They may be as volatile as dynamite but I don't know that...Anyway.I've been seeing Panasonics (They make a great Vacuums) some flat tops, and efests Most are cheaper. Are they O.K.?

I use both. There's comparisons charts on here some were.

OMG. UPS sent back my packages to the shipper, stating we had moved. *looks around* Nope, we are still here at hut 2. Guess the for sale sign means we're not really in here?

OMG! What a maroon!

I hope you call your PO and complain! Whew! Reread that, glad it wasn't us!
