Good morning. Gorgeous day to do some yard work. I need to wait until hubby gets up though. I need the gas trimmer and I have no idea how to start it. I'm thinking about getting an electric or battery powered trimmer for some of the stuff closer to the house so I don't have to bother him. He normally doesn't get up until well after noon since he normally doesn't go to bed until sunrise.

G'Mornin' Posse. I just heard the weatherman say he was "optimistic" that we would have a day with no rain. If its true, it would be the first day in nearly three weeks. My parts for my motorcycle's fuel petcock came in, so Im going to take advantage of the weather and try to fix it. I may even be able to ride a little bit this afternoon once Mrs E gets home from work.

Mrs E is still having problems coming to grips with losing Cocoa. She cries every time she goes into the bedroom. And she feels guilty that we put her down. Last night wasnt as bad as Friday night though. But it still weighs heavy on her.

Right now, CJ is trying to sweep the living room while wearing is jammies and the cowboy hat and bandana he got from the birthday party yesterday.

The kids know that Sunday is "cleaning day" in the house. Not that the house ever really gets clean, but it helps.

Isn't this DT just Too cute??

It's one of the Minions from the movies. I can't remember which movie though.
Tiff, yes, its a "minion".

Drott, the movie is Despicable Me.

Darn enablers
I want the pink pig or one of the frogs humped on a log.
Do I need to say it...? Do I?

((((Tiff))))... You"re my hero with all the stuff you do for your kids and family. No one is better than you.Don't ever think that way about yourself..If they had to live one day in your shoes they wouldn't make it thru that day...I would avoid people like that like the plague. They don't deserve to be in your company...
I couldnt have said it better myself.

It take a while right around 18 months or so.Geo is 7 months and he only has his leg feathers.Boys seem to have more feathering than girls once it fills in.
Hey SP, when will Rugers feathering start coming in. The back hair is starting to thicken up and there's feathering on the legs. What about the side? He's about 4 months now.

I hoard Pro tanks but I don't use them.Carto and tank is my preferred method of choice.
I set up a carto and tank for the first time in months. I vaped almost the whole thing on that porch. I'm enjoying the slightly different flavor you get with a carto tank set up. Anyone else use that as their main set up anymore?

Sorry Mrs.E is taking it so hard. There should be no guilt..Her quality of life was gone. She couldn't even enjoy her food.It was time and you did the merciful thing.I still feel bad about the one we put down almost 20 years ago but it was the right thing to do so I don't feel guilty.
Good luck on the weather thing.

I hope the weather holds out for you James.

Tell Mrs. E we all know what she's going through and feel so badly for all of you. She shouldn't feel guilty though. It was the right thing to do for Cocoa. You let her go when she still had some dignity and not a lot of discomfort. Considering she couldn't eat and hold down her food, things would have started to go really bad really quickly. Even if you had done the tests you couldn't afford and she fell in the treatable 50%, a few months of heaven knows what treatments would have only prolonged her suffering. That wouldn't have been good for any of you. It's going to be really hard for a while, but it'll get a little bit better every day. (((Mrs. E)))

Good morning posse!!!!

I still use carto tanks, and don't own a protank. My daily line up is usually in one rba and two carto tanks.

(((Mrs. E))) (((Tiff)))

Mr. V appeared and we ran to Home Depot. With a list, and only bought what was on the list. Amazing. Then we went over to hut 2.1 to drop off the Home Depot stuff and make sure the light was shining properly on the flag. That was my first act over there, put up a new flag and add a solar light to shine on it.

Today is work on hut 2.1 day. Still pushing for completion on August 1st. And dreading the drywall finishing. I think we might hire it out.
