Good morning. Its drizzly and cloudy today. It feels like its rained all summer. Hubby is going tto put up the laundry door today. I'd like to paint the bathroom and the doors in the house today. Who knows what I'll end up doing.

I found another funny quirk Ruger has. Every morning I put the oil from two fish oil capsules on the dogs food. Usually Ruger comes in from outside and immediately starts eating. The past few days he hasn't done that. He goes straight to the counter where the bottle of capsules are and stares at the counter until I put it on the food. Then he'll eat.

That is going to be a fun dog to own.... Can't wait to hear the stories as he grows up!

I bought Ruger a new collar. Its denim. With rhinestones. Hubby said he's going to pick them off. He's my dog so Im going to dress him like I want. At least his harness is camo and I don't put bows in his ears.

Ok , I'll be quiet now.

I'm calling the fashion police. All the other dogs will make fun of him. Camo and denim and rhinestones. Poor puppy....

Everybody grab their suits come swimming in my basement...Woke up to a flood. We had like 3 inches of rain in an hour and now I'm swimming in the basement. It really wasn't awful.I have everything on shelves....It's not over either.
Mr.??? keeps calling to report water dangers here in Nevernear...We have a beautiful little creek that flows in the back of our property...'m watching it carefully...

Yikes. Hoping everyone (and everything) stays safe.

We just got back from the Grrr store. Mrs Punkin bought a box of Twinkies! She ate one already. I finally found something to make her smile today! ;)

Nice! I'd kill for a Twinkie...I'm in Atkins diet more. 13 down, about 15 more to go.

I'm glad your back is feeling better!!

Me, too! James, baby it as long as you can and let it heal and the inflammation ease up.

If you really want to make her smile, might I suggest

Fried Twinkies Recipe - Food.com - 41317

Deep fried Twinkies are sooo wrong...and sooooooo good!!!!

THAT was a very sweet thing to say! Thank you on behalf of all of us.

I just went to the mail box. It had five packages for me. One was my CC order that arrived at the speed of light. One a purse I ordered. The others...eBay. Luckily hubby was still in bed so I got them opened and put away before he saw them. He wouldn't be mad so not sure why I didn't want him to see the massive pile of packages and ask wth I bought.

Even if he's OK with it, it's just safer to do it that way. :)

I'm using a primer that the guy at Lowe's recommended. I haven't even gotten to the painting. I'm still priming. It maybe have to do with the table being black to begin with but I sanded it before to even it all out and got most of the paint off.
Wow, I don't think I've ever used more than 2 coats of primer, and that was on bare wood!

Stretchy and James, my basement has been wet all summer. :( I get water in there with anything more than just a sprinkle of rain, but it hasn't had a chance to dry out in between this year. I can't afford to get any waterproofing done, so I've been doing the shop vac/fan thing. Yuck.

Afternoon Bamrz, I don't remember if you told us if Xena likes her pool or not. Did you get a chance to try it out?

Actually not yet. :( It's either been way too hot, or raining, or the neighbor was cutting grass. Right now I'm waiting for the lady that's buying Andy's car to call me so we can go get the title switched over. They close at 6, what do you think the odds are?

I'm just so darn impressed to see a dog and flowers in the same picture. Jake beheads all flowers and Victor, um, what flowers?

Interestingly enough they don't like the lilies. Fine by me. I had 6 or so spiderswort planted in that same garden. Grimm and Simon ate them to the ground. :glare: They also love dandelion roots though, and they'll dig them out of the yard for us. That would be lovely if it didn't leave little craters all over the place.

Vey nice...Was that hard to put the new door in with the sidelights?
Okay posse... Here are the oh so fascinating pictures of the doors on the front of my house.

The sidelights on the front door still need to be painted. I'll get to that next week when I paint the insides of the doors themselves.

Told you, simply fascinating.
