I would not have answered..They got an hour of free work from you via phone. Work time is 7 till 4;30...That's a sneaky way to get time without pay.

I think my manager realized today how much time I usually spent at the warehouse. I got home at a little after 5pm this evening, after Ive been made to leave work after 8 hours. At 5:30, my phone rings. We've been having a lot of issues with one particular project. Wrong parts ordered, the job keeps changing necessitating different parts, etc. Its been a serious pain in the backside keeping it straight. After spending an hour on a conference call with two local tech, my manager, the engineering manager, and our National Ops Center in Denver, We finally figured out a partial and temporary solution. Then my manager told the tech to "go to the warehouse and see James. He will show you what you need and walk you through the procedures to get what you need." "Um... Boss man... Im not at the warehouse." "What? Why arent you at the warehouse? Where are you?" "Andy, Im at home. I have to leave at 4:00, remember?" "Oh, sh!+."

Its been a rough day.

Douche canoe needs a lesson on how not to interfere with a process that worked which included some overtime.Don't make him look good.Do as you were told. 7 to 4:30.

Does the first statement scare anyone else here??? Anyone???

Except for the stupid crap thats coming down from Douche Canoe, I really enjoy the job. There is plenty to keep track of so my mind doesnt atrophy. Im moving a lot through the day. I dont get bored. And for the most part, I can do my job with little or no direct supervision.

I know I don't.I used to turn the house air off till Mr.????came home...Now I have to have it on too.
I do not do well without air anymore either. Funny, I grew up without it, my first 3 or 4 cars didn't have it, but just try to get me in a car without it now. Not going to happen. I just don't think I take the heat as well as I used to.

I couldn't make Mr.???? go anywhere with me. I even eat out without him.It bothered me when I was younger. Now I prefer it. So I reallllly know why you want to go places by yourself. We haven't had a vacation together since 2004 and I like it.I love going with Nick.We are always on the same page.I like going with Anna too but I always make her mad and I don't know why...She is her Father's Daughter.

Soo what's a nice way to tell hubby I need some me time. ( running around by myself time )?? Can't move with out him. Felling like I'm under lock and key.

Oh dont worry. They got charged for the time. But yesterday was the second day in a row my manager expected me to still be at the warehouse past 4:00 for some reason.

Soooo I had my first landscaper come today...He was a yes,no answer guy.He would never follow up to why yes or no...That's annoying. He told me to replace my driveway with pavers the cost would be $15,000.Bah hahaha....I think he thought I was a little old lady who wouldn't know any better....I told him everything I knew about driveways which took 15 minutes. Mr.???? was a concrete contractor for 30 years...Every fireman has a second specialty..Some did construction, some did plumbing...Mr.???? did concrete and stone walls as did my brother.I come from a long line of concrete specialists. I also told him it would cost $2,000 which included tearing up the concrete. He got redder and redder. As he turned to leave he noticed I was watering a small shade bed.He did a double take and said"Why are you watering that area? I said "Because"...He said you do know you're watering weeds. I said"Yes" He said "That's Bishops Weed". I said "yes"....I'm not sure if he "Got it" with the my one word replies but I do know he wont' be coming back to my house...$15,000 for an average 2 car driveway....What a rip...There are thieves everywhere...

I was hoping to ride a little bit when I got home, but Mrs E had the chance to go into work this evening. Due to my loss of OT, I figure the couple of hours she can pick up would be worth the lack of bike time.

The downside, is that the weather guy is saying that we will have a serious chance of rain everyday until next Thursday. Bleh.

Geez, where did everyone go??
Believe it or not, I have actually been working while Im at work.

But, Ive been home since about 5:00. Now Im making Kat cook dinner for her brother and sister. :D TV dinners are GREAT.

I definitely have to have air.

Drott, I can't get hubby to go anywhere with me. Tell him you're going somewhere he'd never want to go. Or just say I'm going to X place. I'm gonna go alone this time so I'll see you in a bit. Then run for the car.

Been a busy day. Cleaned my granny's house. Well kinda. I got there and was soooo sleepy, beyond sleepy, that I went to sleep on the couch for a couple of hours and then got up to clean. Then took Alex to an appointment. Straightened up when I got home and now eating gummy bears.
