All Good news...Well except the internet thingy but maybe you were suppose to watch chickens hatch...It may have been fate..That's all I'm sayin...
She is. Mr. V and I are both in love with the little ones. I followed Drott's lead and used an empty aquarium so that Victor can't get them. He's being relatively good, and actually not staring at them. A step in the right direction for him.

Mornin' Tiff. Dont worry about the Orlando trip funds. At least not yet. When I was in band, we went to Disney my senior year. I paid zero money out of pocket. We did fundraisers all year to pay for it.

You may be reluctant, but she will have a blast. Let her go on the trip! ;)

Wow, I didn't even think about them maybe having fundraisers for the trip. I hope they do. My big concern is her meds and that they're given to her.

Morgan's meeting went good. The teachers sit there by the end of the meeting with a look on their face like holy carp, that's a lot of info. I always have them ask any questions they want. It only took about an hour to go through all the info on Tourettes, Bipolar, and the learning disabilities. Not bad at all. And the video was a hit. Two teachers cried.

Did I ever tell you the story about Jimmy's trip to Florida with his class? He was in 5th grade and he was in a gifted childrens after school class.Let's hark back to before he was in 5th grade.Every teacher he had, quit after the year they had him....Coincidence?... Maybe.
So coming into 5th Grade was quite the dilemma for the 2 Fifth Grade teachers....Who would get him?..Evidently they had a meeting..Coincidence?...Doubtful....The teacher who didn't get him...wanted him...the one that got him..not so much...So the teacher that didn't get him asked to have him....The teacher who got him thought he had won the lottery and knew his job was safe for another year...The teacher that took him was also the teacher for the after school class and that was the class that was going to go to Florida..I loved this teacher..I felt bad knowing he would quit teaching the year after Jimmy but he seemed to not think it would happen...Fast forward to the end of the school year...They went on the trip and not until much later did I find out that the teacher shared his room with Jimmy...He was terrified he would lose him if he left him in a room with another student. He also feared for the other student....Good news is the teacher didn't quit the year after he had Jimmy and to this day he remains Jimmy's favorite teacher...

Good morning all! Its THURSDAY!!! Only two more days this week (counting today. Unless youre Drott...then you either have to say "three more days" or "Two more days not counting today").

WHOO HOOO!!!! BEHBEH CHICKENS!!!!

Holy hell the weather is perfect right now. Carolina blue skies and it was 63 degrees when I woke up this morning. It still isnt even 70 degrees yet, and I am in heaven. I wish I could work outside today.

Another fun filled day is about over... At least from a work standpoint.

I get to leave here, get home, wife leaves for work, change clothes, make sure we have everything we need for practice, immediately leave and go to the school's open house, rush through that (since I hate open house night) and get to the ball field by 7:00 for practice until 9:00, then get home, feed the kids, get them bathed, then throw them in bed. And once all of that is done, my wife should get home just in time to not have dealt with any of it. :glare: I was mad when she told me she had volunteered to work tonight... I still am.

I dont know if I'll be back on tonight...

Please tell!!!! I really could use a good giggle today. Please.... *begging*

I had another CC dream. Good grief.

It's been quite a day over here. I had forgotten about that appointment to get tires put on the witchdoctor mobile. So in the midst of the fun trying to catch up, I had to run my car to Ford. Yes, that's 25 miles away. Anyhoo, I got my tires and headed for home. Decided that I really needed to take the back roads to test them out. :D

And luckily I had slowed for a blind curve, as when I could see, there was a huge Angus cow standing in the road. Holy moly! She was a very nice cow, with a brand. I herded her with the car to the nearest farm and yelled for help. Not his cow, but he knows where she lives. A happy ending for all.

And late back to work due to a cow. Go figure.

I forgot what else.... it's been nuts....

Well, we are driving down this old deserted road at like 12am and we get caught in traffic, now this is like a two lane road and practically just a dirt road, we are only moving about a quarter mile every hour. I look at the clock and see it is 2am and then BAM! There is this giant stretchy chicken statue by the side if the road. I'm like oh oh oh food, turn here! We get down the super long drive way and there is this huge fenced in area with HUNDREDS of chickens. I find the house, and I swear it is a comical little shack/hut. I'm look at chips and I tell her we found FV. She laughs and says we are no where near you. I go in the pen with the chickens and sit in a chair and all of a sudden Victor jumps in my lap and is drooling all over me. We are playing fetch and it starts storming so we had into the shack. Trying to be very quiet and not wake you and Mr.V but Victor starts going nuts and knocking every thing over and you guys come out of the room and I scream please don't shoot! Mr.V busts out laughing in his BFPJ's and in walks the classic witch doctor avatar. You start ooga booga-ing Victor and dancing around him. Mr.V explains you were putting a hex on him for waking you up.

:facepalm::facepalm:

I woke my self up laughing.

While Morgan's meeting went well this morning, Alex isn't doing so hot at school right now. They're calling in the schools behavior specialist, which I know well and don't care for. It's more her tactics and attitude I don't like. By all means, call her in and get her opinion but that in no way takes the place of the Functional Behavior Assessment I asked for at the end of the school year. Why? Because I know for a fact she isn't qualified to do an FBA. On top of that, his parapro tells me today that he really needs a more in depth new psychological eval that isn't based solely from the educational standpoint. ( Psych evals are commom to get for any child with a learning disability, autism, bipolar, etc.). I told her that possibly we would once the school did all the evals I requested at the end of last school year. Bwahahahahahahaha!!!! Have they forgotten who they're dealing with? I say that because this is how it works: Parents request eval, parents hound school to do evals, school does half ... eval, parent requests an Independent Educational Evaluation at school expense because their eval sucked, parent picks out the independent Neuropsychologist that is best in Atlanta for Autism, school balks about price and caps price at x amount, parent reminds school that by law they can not do that. End result: Child now has a full neuropsychological evaluation that is worth it's weight in gold and school will take the recommendations in this new eval because they just paid out the azz for it. Ta da....

I reminded the special education coordinator yesterday that they need to get this done. I told her that when she calls the county office to ask about when it will be done, remind them that Tiffany Moody is the mom.
