James...Breathe...For once I'm not kidding.I know that job is beginning to take it's toll but you can't let it beat you up...This weekend go off on your bike for a while. Stop at the nearest greasy spoon for a burger and a beer (just 1) and head out into the countyside on the back roads.Clear your mind and relax..You can't change your situation right now but it doesn't need to make you sick...xoxoxo Jimmy's Mom

Mrs E has been asleep on the couch for the last hour. I just got the kids in bed. When I woke her up by not so gently yanking the tv remote from her hands, she said "Sorry... I didnt mean to fall asleep. Waking up a 6:00 was rough today." :glare: Gee... how terrible that must be. Lets not attempt to remember Im up at 5am every damned day. WTH?! Is she expecting SYMPATHY for that?!?

*peek*

*poot*

*sprays air freshener because I still cant get it right*

Lunchtime check in. Ive been able to do my job today! Not that it matters much. My manger didnt like my answer when he asked where the equipment was for several projects. "I dunno... somewhere in the floor probably". Then he turned around and told the techs that I would still be available to help in the field if the extra set of hands was needed. Really?!? Youre already irritated that I dont know where stuff is, and you STILL volunteer me for the field? I just dont understand management.

*gives one more spray of air freshener... just in case*

Morning everyone...some know me as "Omo"

It took me 4 days to find this thread. I am not too savvy on wading thru all the forum stuff to find what I am looking for.

FV...I am so bummed I broke 2 glass zen atty tanks. I dropped a bottle of House Blend and it knocked over the tanks on to granite counter tops. These tanks were filled with "I cant do without vapes - House Blend and Voo's Broo." I ordered replacement glass for both, but until then...using carto tanks filled with VB and protank 2 filled with HB, but the taste is not the same.
Howdy Omo! Im NavyTechVet at the other place. I wasnt feeling very creative when I made my account over here.

Its great to see you here, but I cant like that post... They say you shouldnt cry over spilled milk... but spilled House is worth a cry.

Omo! Happy you joined us here!

My day is clicking along good. Hubby got approved for the loan at an awesome interest rate. We've picked out the car and hopefully will get it today pr tomorrow as loong as they haven't sold it to someone else before we get to it.
Good luck!

Congrats Tiff, and don't forget to post pics of it when you pick it up.
Car pix go in the Carmegeddon thread!!!

Oh My God...I totally love passive aggressiveness.Writing it down...

We once set the clocks ahead 3 hours while Sonny was sleeping. We did the entire house, all cars and watches. I called his friends and they all did the same. When Sonny woke up he freaked! He thought he was late for everything, and spent the day all frantic and apologizing to everyone. He didn't realize what time it really was until he noticed that it should already be dark out. I got a phone call: "You SUCK!" Bwa hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

My day turned to nothing pleasant as soon as I woke up.Two non deliveries so I had to file 2 claims with the insurance company. It gave me a headache verging on a stroke.Ricky is still in his crate. It's day 4 and he had had enough so he keeps whining..Last night I spent 8 hours transferring stuff to my new e-mail addys.I have something wrong with me that doesn't allow me to think logically so stuff like that makes me anxious.Let's just say I'm not confident doing important stuff...After filing the claims, the theme song from Cheers popped into my head and I realized Copper Creek is my Cheers..(((((Group Hug)))). You know... Where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came?

I checks what I knew to check. Everything looks right. It acts like its printing but then shoots out a blank paper.
Is it an inkjet by any chance? I have one that's now a paperweight. :grr: Apparently if you don't use them frequently enough, the ink dries in the lines and it will never print again.:mad::mad:

OMG, decaf coffee borders on cruelty. Really.
It really does! Reminds me of when we were visiting grandma and she didn't think to tell us she used decaf. For 2 days hubby and I couldn't figure out why we were still foggy headed at noon.

I realized today how much I miss going in to work early as a regular schedule. :( When I first started at the PO, my start time was 2:30am. Even going in at 3am today was great, my day was half over before the carriers started coming in. You can get so much more work done without an extra 20 people in your way!

And I really like our new postmaster. :) The really nice supervisor we had (the one with dreads) transferred to another office, so the boss was in early (6am) to cover. At one point I'm in the back sorting parcels, and look over and he's standing there staring. Not just normal staring, but that really intense "I'm going to creep you out" kind. I started laughing and he said he had nothing else to do so he though he would come back and bug us while we worked.

Yep, its an inkjet. One day it was fine, the next day it carped out. It's quite inconvenient since I use it to print postage for ebay sales. Right now I'm doing it the old fashioned way.

I'm sitting in the dreaded pick up line at school. Not wanting to waste gas do turned truck off and rolled down the window. I'm roasting and my makeup is melting.

I think I am calling it quits for the day.

Being busy makes the day fly by, until you stop and try to figure out if you were productive, and you dont feel like you made any progress.

Oh well. Gonna head home, scarf down some food, and get ready for practice tonight. I may drag Kat out early to get a little bit of extra practice in with her.

busy, busy, busy over here. Which keeps me out of trouble. So I guess it's a good thing.

I found two mini usb chargers in the junk drawer. There is actually some useful stuff in there, who knew?

Stretchy, that does sound like the posse, now we have a theme song to go with our motto. :p
