How about Main I hear it's beautiful in December. There's a BB run by a nice lady names Sallie.:lol::evil:

 :glare:

Actually I'd enjoy the company of any of the posse members and as long as it's not until December I might not feel like killing any one of you after 2 hours either.

Evenin' ladies.

Been another interesting evening. I started on the way home and got less than a mile down the road when my boss calls. "JAMES!!! You need OT." Wait....wut...? I do? Ive already got 46 hours..? "No, you need more." At this, I start changing lanes so I can make the u-turn. He needed me to unspool 850ft of fiber optic cable, and re-spool it on a smaller spool for out contractors to pick up Monday. So I say "He's coming by Monday? I can do it first thing Monday morning, right?" Yeah, I shoulda known better. So, I finished my week with 47 hours.

While on the way home for the second time, I get another call. This time from one of my player's parents. My heavy hitter took a pitch last night which she tried to cram into the outfield. But when the ball came off her bat, it made an odd sound. I asked if she was ok, thinking maybe she hit the ball off the end of the bat and rang her hands, and she said she was fine. She wasnt honest. That hit broke her wrist. Specifically, her growth plate. She is now in a cast for three weeks. So we now have three girls on the roster that have been injured. One broken growth plate, one with a buckle fracture from sliding into home, and Kat with her torn knee.

When I get home, Mrs E tells me about Kats pediatric orthopedic doc visit. She needs an MRI, and thankfully, insurance has already accepted it. As of right now, the doc thinks that she literally is growing too fast for her body to keep up with it. At her last physical, her height is in the 95% of all ten year old girls. She towers over most of the kids in the same grade. She's already as tall as Mrs E. Anywho, thats why her tendon has torn. Hopefully, the MRI will tell us more.

When I got home, we had dinner, and it was my goal to have the kids in bed before 8. I failed miserably. But while they were rotating through showers, I had CJ then Melanie walk on my back. Most of my lower back pain has subsided, but while I was walking around like Igor, it messed up my middle and upper back. CJ just had fun standing and sliding off my sides. Melanie actually walked where I needed her to. She laughed every time a disc popped back in place. Apparently it tickles. After feeling somewhere between 6 and 8 pops, it felt like I had no pressure on my back. I just layed there marveling in the lack of pain. Until Charli decided that daddy in the floor means its time to jump on his head. That girl just aint right. ;)

Now that the kids are in bed, my back no longer hurts, Im thinking its time for me to shave my two week old beard back down to a goatee, take a shower and wash away the week, and then get some bed time.

:( at least it's Friday.
Monday number 5 is always better than Monday number 1.

Then do this...Go into the bathroom look n the mirror..notice the 2 long pieces of hair on either side of your face that look stupid because they are all stringy..Get the scissors from the junk drawer not the wonderfully sharp shears you have put away in case you want to take up sewing...go back into the bathroom hack off those stringy pieces and voila you have an unintentional Mullet..

That's pretty exciting.'m trying to repair an unintentonal Mullet..
:facepalm::facepalm:

I don't know if I should be ticked off that my plans to live vicariously through all of you has been foiled, or if I should be happy that I'm not the only one who lives a quiet life...
I'll trade you one week of my overly exciting life for one week of your quiet ones. How's this for vicarious:

We have to get up in the morning to go to the school carnival. What could be more fun than paying for your kids to smell horse poop and ride on rides that would make a carny cringe. Then its off to visit with my grand mother. Something that hasnt happened in WAY too long. Then I might be going to meet a friend for lunch. Then its time to head home in time for naps and for Mrs E to get ready for work. While she's at work, I get to crack the whip and get the kids to clean the house while I watch the race(s) and UFC fights. If I dont go to lunch with my friend, we are going to try to go play pool after Mrs E gets home.

Sunday, means Sunday school for Melanie. While shes doing that, Kat and CJ get dragged into and through Walmart. An hour later, we take them back to the church where they join Melanie for Children's Choir practice. Get home in time for Mrs E to go to work, which means more naps, then more house cleaning, then dinner, then showers, then bed.

And thats a "relaxing" weekend.

That thing is a monster!
THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!!

I mean... Ive never directly heard it... but thats what he said she said.... I think.

I refuse to like a trip to Hellmart at any time of day, or night. blech.

We're taking about where to go, this vacation may just happen. Unless of course we are snowed in....

Agreed. I wont set foot in that place. As for vacations, one day you should consider the outer banks here in NC. Especially gorgeous off season. I love watching the ocean and one day i'm going out there to sit, vape, watch the ocean and herds of wild horses. One day...

We're down to trying to figure out who we can sweet talk into chicken sitting. The boys of course go with.
