My pet stuff order came today! Sadly the new sweater I ordered for Xena is too small. You think sizes vary from store to store for people? It's worse for pets. One maker's XS is another's XXS and another's S. :glare:

I'm set for the fall/winter dry skin season! I gave all the furkids their first dose of Linatone, and nobody seemed to dislike the taste. Xena also got the smallest rawhide bones they had, and she loves it! She's been dragging it around the house chewing all afternoon! :)

The cats' new toy is the box the stuff came in. Yup, I've learned no matter what I get them, they like the box better.

Let's all go camping...You guys have wayyyy too much fun..
When we moved to Hawaii, the previous occupants of our housing unit had left a rather large wooden crate in the shed. It turned out to be one of the best toys ever for the boys! I attached an old bicycle wheel at one end, and it became everything from a race car, to a boat, to a tank!

If you don't have sensitivity issues, Deep Woods Off is the shiznit! Oh, and go hiking! It will work up an appetite so nobody fusses about helping to get food ready when you get back to camp!

Good morning Posse.

I got to ride the bike last night. Its starting to get down into the 50's at night, so I broke down and put the liner in my mesh riding jacket. Im actually impressed with it.

Before practice, one of my players asked if I could take her home if her mom brought her. She doesnt live too far away, so I said yes. When her mom dropped her off, I was just undoing the helmet. And her mom's face dropped while my player's face lit up. I had to tell her that Mrs E would be taking her home, and she would NOT be riding on the bike. So, player's face fell, and mom relaxed a bit. BUT, she suprised me when she said "I really dont mind her riding with you". Seriously? You know Ive only been riding for like three months, less than 500 miles, and you are ok with putting her on the back of a sport bike? Im all about letting your kids have a bit of freedom, but at what point does common sense need to kick in?

100 "I Park Like an Idiot" bumper stickers is only $30. And in my cart.
And worth every penny!!!

And the beauty of them, is that so many people drive off without seeing them. Seriously, how many times do you look at your back bumper before you drive off? So, they drive around for a day or two without realizing they are advertising their own stupidity. Its AWESOME.
