Hence the cucumbers...My Sister's husband came from Grannysbranch in Gooserock Ky. (I did not make that up.He lived in a holler (Hollow) down there)His brother stayed there with his family .His wife canned anything that moved and everything that didn't.Her greenbeans were to die for...

Guess everyone is still asleep. I only have one dog today but that means I'll get out of here earlier and more time with my sister . Before we do anything I have to go to Target for prescriptions and Office Depot for labels for my canning stuff. Tomorrow is dill pickle canning day.

Hubby is home and supposed to supervise Alex getting school work done and Morgan going through her clothes to get rid of what she doesn't want anymore or doesn't fit.

They're closing the bigger shop i work at next weekend so they can go out of town. Ill be off Friday and Monday so I plan to paint Alex's room then. I'm giving plenty of notice for anyone that wants to help. . Hubby will be bear hunting all next weekend.

It's a beautiful day here.I would love to go shopping at an open air mall but I'm afraid to go anywhere alone right now..Who wants to pass out while driving? I went into my FB this morning and had a birthday notice for my friend Barb. She would have been 48 today. And no, I won't take her off my friend list, I still go to her profile now and then just to look through the pictures.

It's a beautiful day in the northwoods today, the nuggets are in the backyard staring at the tomato I gave them. They're afraid of it. It made me think of that old B movie "Killer Tomatoes".

As a side note, I checked my post for typos before I hit enter, good thing as I typed "because he's in need of jugs too" Almost pulled a Tiff there.....

Ugh. Just got a call that my god daughter is in the hospital. Had to have a chest xray because her right side lung capacity sounded bad. She has a suspected GI bleed... ugh..

The tomato is gone. One brave bird took a peck at it, then it was a free for all.

My camera is dead. I talked to Sonny, he's finding me a new one. Then he is going to have to teach his camera impaired mom how to use it. I almost feel bad for him. Not bad enough to not make him do it though.

I was up at 6:30 to get Kat to our team pix. Then we came home, changed clothes and went to the ball field for a practice that wasnt a practice. I wanted to keep it as fun as possible. We got home and had lunch and Ive done as much nothing as humanly possible. Mrs E is about to go to work and that means NAP TIME!!!
