Howdy V, hope you are having a great weekend. The chick photos are a big hit.

It was better before it starting raining. I had the little ones out in a pen on the lawn and got to do the mad dash back and forth to the coop with 11 screaming babies. Yep, the sky was falling.

Great, four are laying everyday, the barred rock has yet to share with us. All my other girls are sweet.

Later friends, got home from the shop early so I get to tag along to the grocery store. I don't usually get to go cause my wife says I spend to much. I just buy the fun stuff.
Then I've been doing it all wrong. I give Mr. V the evil eye while scolding him. "Do you really think we NEED that?" He still loads the cart with goodies. 
I give the speech on the way to the Grrrr store. But what really works for me is. If you put that in the cart your paying for it. Cart stays nice and empty. I'm

It's a beautiful day in the northwoods today, the nuggets are in the backyard staring at the tomato I gave them. They're afraid of it.
As a side note, I checked my post for typos before I hit enter, good thing as I typed "because he's in need of jugs too"Almost pulled a Tiff there.....

I couldn't pay my hubby to go to the store with me. Its a rare thing.
I haven't been home long. We shopped our butts off. She wanted me to leave my car in the Olive Garden parking lot and ride with her. Noooooo! I'm not leaving my new car there alone. , so I drove. I never get to go out like this or do anything with anyone and I had a fabulous time! Hubby had the kids all day so I didn't have to worry about phone calls from schools or kids. Hubby told me to enjoy myself and forget about everything else today. So I did. And he said I could buy a few things for myself if I found anything. He probably shouldn't have said that and I'll probably be admonished when he see the checking account Here's a pic of my day of worry free shopping.....
And I got my nails done in orange for Halloween:
