Unbelievable. I actually got an email stating how rude and inconsiderate we are for being closed over our family issue. How dare she not die on a weekend, people need their juice. Bah, family is first.

Mr. V called, she opened her eyes for a minute but didn't seem to "see" him. He said it's just a matter of time, he's staying there with her. I'm doing the phone call marathon for him.

I was sitting outside making my calls and waiting for the crowing. Nothing. As soon as I came back inside he did it again.

My like button isn't working.

James, I completely agree on both. I left the store pages available, as people like to be able to put stuff in their cart on weekends, then checkout when we open. I'd go on a tirade about how unfeeling and selfish some people can be, but I'm too tired.

And the little roo is cracking me up. I've never heard such a pitiful crow. Think of a tiny squeaky hinge.

Drott, I adore these silkies, they are snuggly and sweet. How about if I send you a roo if I end up with two? :D

People can be so inconsiderate!!

A gal down the road opened a grooming shop at her farm. I'm thinking of calling her, but I hate to have a neighbor hate me.

They won't hate you, just the dog. Our code on the chart is PITA

They wont hate you but the price might be a bit more next time.:lol:

Yes, and this too. Sorry to say I have done this but mainly when the dog is bad and there's a lot of extra work and time put into it.

I haven't used them but there's Mobil groomers that come to your home. They have converted vans. My vet has a Motor home.

Drott's dog shack on the move.

I wish I could afford a mobile grooming trailer. They're roomier than than a van. Did I spell roomier right. It just looks wrong.

I made it to Grannys and she had a TON of food she's cooked in the past two days and she sent it home with me. Why she cooks so much food is beyond me. It's only her there and me, my mom, and sister that come over on a regular basis and she knows when were coming so why cook if no one is coming. Anywho, I don't have to cook for a couple of days.....
Homemade coleslaw, BBQ, green beans with small little potatoes, country fried steak with gravy and corn. And she had frozen some chili and sent that home with me too. The bad thing is that I won't be eating it, the rest of the family will. I'm back on my diet and it's so hard to get back on track if you get off. *sigh* Guess I'll either eat a portabella mushroom burger or a salad. Probably the mushroom so they don't go bad. A good thing is I can have as many dill pickles as I want.

She does it because Grannies don't know how to not cook.

My zombie provari arrived today. It was kind of cool to be home and getting a package that was for me. And I love it. Nothing like a little blood splatter to cheer a witchdoctor up. :D

I was outside working and not a peep of of baby roo. Hmmmm.... Is someone messing with me?

I got 3 packages in the mail today. And hubby got the mail. one was the new tank, which is now filled with honeysuckle. Another was my CC order. Then a pair of shoes from eBay.

I tasted my dill pickles. They're really good. Tastes just like a dill pickle.

For the first time in 2 f/n years, I broke down and went and bummed a cigarette.

Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
Youre doing better than I have. Ive been vaping for just over two years. But Ive only been smoke free for 18 months. And in that 18 months, Ive had three cigarettes. All three times involved copious amounts of alcohol, but it was still three cigarettes. The only good thing that came from each one was a reminder of how nasty they tasted.

Dont beat yourself up over it though. Youre going through a lot right now.

Oh, I forgot to add that Im headed home. Ive got to get ready for tonight's practice. We got the results back from Kat's MRI today. The ortho doc said that they cant find anything wrong with any of the tendons. It seems that she is just dealing with a case of her tendons stretching too much too fast because she's growning so much so fast. The doc said that she shouldnt play softball and that she will be getting a packet of physical therapy exercises to help. Of course, since Kat heard there is no injury, she's ready to play ball. Im gonna let her go through tonight's practice and Wednesday's practice, and see how she does. If she can tolerate the pain, Im going to let her play Thursday. Then I get to talk to the parents to see what they want to do for a post season party. Ive suggested a family softball game with some pizzas afterwards, or I can just throw together a quick cookout with some burgers, dogs, and bbq. I figure we can let the kids jump on the trampoline, hit the tetherball around, and of course I would have to set up the fire pit. Decisions decisions.

Y'all have a good evening.

That goes double for you, JD.

On a serious note, I don't usually talk politics except with hubby BUT if this gov't shutdown happens and they don't find a resolution within two weeks, it's bad news for us. Essential federal employees, which he is one, still have to go to work but won't get a paycheck til a resolution is passed. He'd get back pay but that doesn't help when you need it now to pay your bills. I'm worried of course.
