Morning, Monday....

FYI I know how to tie a noose

That's a Monday requirement. <nodding>

I got 3 packages in the mail today. And hubby got the mail. one was the new tank, which is now filled with honeysuckle. Another was my CC order. Then a pair of shoes from eBay.

I tasted my dill pickles. They're really good. Tastes just like a dill pickle.
Next time, you need to make some bread and butter pickles, and make too many so you can send me some. :)

On a serious note, I don't usually talk politics except with hubby BUT if this gov't shutdown happens and they don't find a resolution within two weeks, it's bad news for us. Essential federal employees, which he is one, still have to go to work but won't get a paycheck til a resolution is passed. He'd get back pay but that doesn't help when you need it now to pay your bills. I'm worried of course.
Try not to worry too much Tiff. IIRC, back when I was still married, there was a time like this lurking. Believe me, they do not want to NOT pay the military! So they should get their butts in gear and figure it out.

Well, I found out I'm not back to normal yet. I thought my voice was OK until I got into work and was actually talking to people for more than a couple minutes. I still sound funky, but at least I'm feeling a lot better.

And I missed Xena terribly! I'd had her in my lap almost constantly the whole 2 weeks!

Mrs. G, hoping to hear some good news that whatever it was they were doing today has helped you!

I actually have the mix for bread and butter pickles in the cabinet and they're next on the list when I can get more pickling cucumbers. I'll send you some if I can find enough bubble wrap to put wrap it in.

I'm the worrier. Hubby doesn't seem concerned. Just the thought of the possibility of it sends me in a panic.

I hope you start feeling better soon! Have you been to the doctor? Two weeks is a long time. Just sayin'.

You do know that there are jackasses in this world and no matter what we do there will always be one. It's on them not on you.If they wait to the last minute to buy needful things. Again, that is on them not on you...People like that kick puppies and you do not want them as a customer anyway...

Unbelievable. I actually got an email stating how rude and inconsiderate we are for being closed over our family issue. How dare she not die on a weekend, people need their juice. Bah, family is first.

Mr. V called, she opened her eyes for a minute but didn't seem to "see" him. He said it's just a matter of time, he's staying there with her. I'm doing the phone call marathon for him.

I was sitting outside making my calls and waiting for the crowing. Nothing. As soon as I came back inside he did it again.

She sends them to Freezer Camp...
My like button isn't working.

James, I completely agree on both. I left the store pages available, as people like to be able to put stuff in their cart on weekends, then checkout when we open. I'd go on a tirade about how unfeeling and selfish some people can be, but I'm too tired.

And the little roo is cracking me up. I've never heard such a pitiful crow. Think of a tiny squeaky hinge.

Drott, I adore these silkies, they are snuggly and sweet. How about if I send you a roo if I end up with two? :D

No Dr, I really hate going. :( Talking to customers today, whatever this is has been "going around", and some people have had it for 4 weeks! Whatever it is, I wouldn't even wish it on people I don't like.

Plugging ears lalalalalala...Don't want to hear about the Provari's lalalalala
She does it because Grannies don't know how to not cook.

My zombie provari arrived today. It was kind of cool to be home and getting a package that was for me. And I love it. Nothing like a little blood splatter to cheer a witchdoctor up. :D

I was outside working and not a peep of of baby roo. Hmmmm.... Is someone messing with me?

JD, bet that tasted nasty. blech.

Tiff, no offense at all. This is just stupid, they need to act like grown ups and do the job that we are paying them to do.

Mr. V is hanging in there, he was vaping with two of the nurses this afternoon. No change with Mom, but the Dr. was in again and said the prognosis is "dim". So we wait, that's all we can do.

Bamrz, I can't imagine not having a dog stuck to me. How awful. Unless it's hot and humid, you know, when they stick to you even more. :p

Bread and butter pickles are the absolute best. Now I will have to get out my canning stuff. In all my spare time.

Stretchy, I'd post a pic of my new ZOMBIE PROVARI if my stupid camera would work. It's awesome, but I don't have a tank to match. Yet.

Everything else, I forgot. Oops

I'll try my hardest to handle it in a way you won't lose a customer, but no promises.
