We have bobcats, foxes, coyotes, and copperheads. Of course we all know about the copperheads. Thankfully, no bears or cougars. I'd be armed too. Well I am armed most of the time anyway but with those I'd be double armed.

We don't have free bacon running around here either. Mr. V is sitting bow stand for deer this weekend. I think.
There are certain areas around here that are over run with them. Hubby got one earlier this year. It was yuuuuumy! He got two deer before that and it didn't last long. That's about the only wild game I'll eat. Hubby on the other hand will eat squirrel and rabbit. *gag*

When my kid was like 2 I took her to a wild game dinner, all of us ate some weird stuff. Skunk, possum, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, mountain goat, snake, I can't even remember it all. But it was all surprisingly good.
It's really pretty down there. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
He took a rabbit into work with him to cook for him and another guy he hunts with. *shivers* He also eats vienna sausage with hot sauce. *gags again*
Not for everybody... but I had to try it... I would do it again though... I'll take deer any day though, I would take it over beef.. as long as it is cooked right
I'm fine with venison if it's prepared right. But I still will chose a steak first. That being said, hopefully venison will be back on our menu shortly!
Mostly myself, if the extra cash is there I will spoil myself, I just can't do as good a job as they can... if I get one this year I want to get some jalapeno cheddar venison... that's goooood eating
