Have fun James...Try and run into Johnny Depp while you're out there and give him my regards...
And now that we've decided that Tiff isnt running away. Or if she does, she wont be doing it alone....

Im off. I'm gonna try to finish up one or two more projects before the day really ends, but I wanted to get one more check in done with y'all before I headed out. I'm sure I'll be able to get online later, I just dont know when "later" will be.

JD, Im not going to give you a hug, but I will wish you well. Stretchy is right (again). Youve been through a lot lately. Try to take it easy, ok?

Tiff, youre another one thats been through the wringer lately. Just remember you are stronger than you think you are. I dont think there is anyone that knows what youve been through that would be able to honestly tell you otherwise. You can have a hug. {{{{TIFF}}}}

So sorry Tiff...I know it's been a rough couple of months.I would definitely look into home schooling or tutoring..Back in the day I had Rheumatic Fever in my senior year.They sent my homeroom teacher from school to my house everyday for an hour to catch me up...Is that something that might be available to you?

Well I'm home. Lunch with my friend got interrupted by Alex's school calling. Lunch is in the fridge. I went and picked him up. I texted the parapro before I got there and told her I wanted the written copy of the behavior plan we did. She said I had a copy. No, no I don't. I have the report. The plan is written based on the report. She found it. I also told her I wanted to speak with someone of authority before I left that school with Alex. He was yet again refusing to go to the class they put him in to catch up on his work. His behaviors are not acceptable to the society as a whole but a lot of them are manifestations of the disability or made worse by it. I'm not trying to defend him. He has to learn to do what he's told to do but don't threaten to send my child to jail cause he won't go to the crummy classroom. He got suspended. When I got there it didn't take long for the principal, and BOTH school police officers to meet me at the attendance office. What the &*%#???!!!! All of my diplomacy skills went out the window at that point. I told them to get the evaluation done YESTERDAY so we can get him help. That a child with aspergers/high functioning autism can't be treated this way. The principal says to me that I, as in me, can't diagnose him, that a doctor has to. I looked right at him and said obviously you have no idea what you're talking about because he does have a diagnosis by a doctor and the report from him is here at this school in his file in case you'd like to take a look. I guess my voice went up an octave or two cause they quickly found an empty room that we could talk in. The parapro said she didn't think the eval will give us any info to help. I said that's OK, it will then fall onto the school system to pay for an independent eval that will so someone better get on it. No one knows what to do to help him and im trying my hardest looki g in every corner of the state to find help. So now here we are.... Hubby wants to pull him out and do an online public charter school. He wants me to research that tonight. Alex was in tears and says he's never going back. And it will take an act of God to get him in the car Friday to go. I've drug out my special Ed law book. I'm am infuriated. I took my bp and it was 176/114. This has got me so upset. Thanks for listening to my rant.

That's basically what we've done three different times. That's called homebound school. Home school would be a bit different since he could work at his own pace and we choose curriculum. He could even finish early if he wanted to. Its not cheap ...$550 to 600 a year at the place were looking to get it from but it would be done online. I've requested a meeting with the school before he returns but I haven't heard back on that yet. We're in a corner. Alex is upset too. We'll do what we feel is best at this point because he doesn't want to go to school or home school.

It is a killer. Sonny's best friend had high BP, when he lost his insurance he stopped taking his meds, without telling any of us. Had he said something, we would have pooled resources to pay for it. What he didn't know is that not taking his meds was doing damage to his kidneys. He went into kidney failure, survived a transplant from his mom. Two years later the new kidney failed. We lost him last year. :cry:
Take the meds!!!!!!

When Jimmy calls he does that...I wanna smack him..LOL
Isn't that the truth. My ringtone on my phone for when one of the kids is calling me is the one where Stewie is saying "mom, mom, mommie, mama, mama, mom" . Have y'all heard that one before?

None of us had any idea that high BP did that. I don't know why the doctor's don't tell their patients this. It's important to know side effects. Obviously. We had to just watch him fade away, it was horrible.

Ooooh! Pics please!!!!
Funny how that happens, one shiny new thing always leads to at least two more. Mr. V is concerned, I bought the new tiles to go under the woodstove and mentioned how crappy the rest of the floors will look now....
So I was MIA yesterday on acounta the coffee table from hell arrived and Mr.???? had to put it together.....It took 3 hours and like 16 F words but he got it done.It is indeed genius....Now I have to buy all new living room furniture to go with it...:)

Good morning
My wife has been battling her blood pressure since the baby was born. It goes up, goes down, it hit scary numbers right after the baby was born, I think it was 140/210. Now we are having issues getting it below 100. Just when we think it is fine, goes right back up. Sad part is she isn't even 30 yet...

Yep my battery is dead. It takes a charge for a draw or two then nothing. This is going to get annoying, quick. I will need to get another battery this weekend, if the finances say it's ok, I am thinking an MVP or maybe a vamo. Not sure, what do y'all think?
