That's the only thing I DO know about raising chickens. Fresh eggs are amazing. I used to buy all mine (when I didn't live in Southern California) from a friend who kept laying hens. His house was "up the crick". Dang, I miss those days. I'd show up to pick up a dozen or so eggs and end up drinking from a jug and staying for dinner. Best people ever.

The Indian Chick seems to have gotten into a mood. That's my signal to open a bottle of Beaujolais (for me). I did offer her some, but she turned it down. It might interfere with the grumps...can't have that!

Howdy folks, went camping this weekend. It poured, tent leaked everything was soaked. Friends stayed and Haley stayed with them. Her clothes were dry and left her the driest sleeping bag. I bailed out. Too much in one week. But the rest of the weekend turned out to be pretty fun anyways. Finally back home to some fresh copper creek goodness instead of the crap I found in a drawer and vaped for 3 days. Should honeysuckle steep?

Most of Maureen's concoctions are good right away, and some get even better, right.? Try it...whaddaya got to lose? I have to try some honeysuckle. I've found that the things I don't think I will like...I do.
