Yes, the PG will not get all gloppy in freezing weather, but a VG based juice does get really thick when it's cold.

I have hand warmers, I usually use them in my pockets with all the stuff I need. I keep my phone in there too the cold kills the battery quick. I figured I would need to keep the batterys warm to keep them working anyway. The second you get cold there is very little you can do to stop it other than move around. Moving is the last thing I want to do. I appreciate the reply Bamrz, inside pockets are a no-no for me though. I have layers of scent proofing I wear. The last is my jacket. I try to not open it up unless I really need to. I guess I am super cautious like that. I have actually been taking showers for the last month with scent free soap and shampoo. Yes I get nuts aroud now.

A guy I know hunts from his back sliding patio door. He puts the coffee maker on the floor next to him and sits there in flannel jammies, drinking coffee and smoking, while waiting for a deer to walk through the back yard. Amazingly, he gets his deer.

All the older guys I hunt with are the same way, wake up whenever the hangover is gone, hike up to their spot (you can see it from the camp), sit down for 30 min and shoot one. Me... not so lucky... I need all the help I can get. But I know that the big bucks are smarter, they do things like watch the other deer from really thick brush. Then after they think it is ok they still circle down wind to make sure. But all I want now is some meat, I would take a wall hanger though... just sayin
Actually, come to think of it a guy I know goes really old school. He learned to hunt from a Native American. He knappes his own broadheads, widdles his own arrows and bow. Wears a thick wool jacket and pants (the fluffy ones...sherpa?) And shoots a buck that could make it in the record books (200"+) every single year. I consider that a buck of a lifetime but every year. There has been a few years he has gotten 2
We have one buck on the wall in the living room, Mr. V won't take another one until he sees one that's bigger. So we've been buckless for a few years now. Maybe this will be the year.
I need to get some sleep, my eyes are crossing. Happily all orders placed before we closed today are finished and will go to the PO first thing in the morning.

I hope so, I definitely won't get another mounted that is not as big or bigger than mine. There has only been one taken where I hunt bigger than mine (it's not that big, but a great mount and I am proud of him). But I have seen bigger out there. I hope he gets one huge guy though.
We keep seeing the tracks of a huge one, now we wait to see if he makes an appearance or not. *fingers crossed*

Mornin' all. Its not even brisk here. Its downright cold. 29 degrees when we got up this morning.
My mom called yesterday. She was going to be heading back overseas tomorrow, but it turns out some Brazilian consulate messed up her paperwork and she wont be leaving for another month. Thats great as far as being able to spend more time with her, but it sucks because that means a month without pay for her.
Gonna be a fun day in the house today. I need to cut the grass one last time for the season. And we have to get the house cleaned up before our post season party next week.
I still have three parents that havent paid though. There's always someone.

All big chickens are hiding inside, and I can't say as I blame them. The little ones kept blowing away so I locked them in their coop.
I'm going to Menards today. Woo Hoo!!!! I always get in trouble there.
