Like I'd really get any work done at all. Not a chance. I'll be in front of the TV, wearing my Matthews jersey, and hopping up and down yelling at the refs.
So, my dad and step mom are planning for a trip to the beach right after Christmas. (Im sorry if Ive said this before, but there's been a new development).
Because I get Christmas Day and ONLY Christmas Day off, and that this was last minute as far as time off from work is concerned, I told Mrs E to take the kids. My dad and stepmom would be there to help watch them. And I think a cousin of mine will be going and bringing her kids too. Long story short, she actually contemplating doing it. Seriously! I might actually be able to get a full three days and two nights of a house ALL TO MYSELF!!! That would be so AWESOME! Dont get me wrong... I love my family. But two days of being able to watch what I want on the TV without hearing whining.... three nights of video games if I want without hearing nagging... Two days of all the beer I want and not having to hear "Youre drinking AGAIN!?!?!" (even though I only drink like once a month).... I'm all a dither at just the thought of it!!!
Now its time to head home! Mrs E has already said we're having breakfast for dinner. And THAT means.....BACON!!!! I have to cook it though. Mrs E likes it crispy. And that just ruins it.

Sure you can! You get between 20 and 25 seconds between each play, plus the time between each quarter plus the half time break, PLUS any and all timeouts and injuries, and then you have the play reviews!!! I fail to see a problem to find time to mix!

The cookout went great. Much better than the July 4th one I had. I actually stayed sober enough to enjoy the whole night! Everyone showed up that said they would show up. We kinda over did it on the food though. I spent nearly $100 over my alotted budget. Some of the parents knew it and tried to give me more money. I turned it down. I had to tell them it was my thanks to them and their daughters for a great season. Once most everyone left, we had one parent left, and three players. Surprisingly, one of them was the kind of kid who never likes staying anywhere. So when she asked her dad if she could stay, he was so shocked he said yes. They hung out until 10:30 around the firepit roasting marshmallows. They went through an entire bag. I had to stop Melanie and CJ after 7 a piece. All in all it was a great Saturday. Setup went smoothly. We had plenty of food. Everyone got full and we had very few leftovers. Even clean up was much easier than the July 4th one. Granted, I still have a lot to put away, but it really wasnt/isnt all that bad.
Today, I came into work bringing chicken biscuits from Bojangle's. Friday was my three year anniversary with this company. I just hope we can all survive the Douche Canoe so I can have many more years with an alright company around some awesome people.

I think it's "camo" green, like in camouflage. Although to me, camo is a mottled green, not a solid color.

And to add to the ickyness, I'd be guessing the flavors would be limited to "regular" and "menthol".This is why I don't understand people looking at me funny when I tell them I enjoy being single.

I was sorting packages at work this morning, and just stopped what I was doing when I came across one addressed to "1234 Rock Space Creek Road". Didja get it? The street is actually Rock Creek Road, but someone over the phone would give their address that way, and the idjit taking the order put it in exactly as the customer said it.
I was eating an orange, and Xena was doing some serious begging, so I gave her a little piece. She ate it and came back for another. Sure thing! Oranges won't make her fat, so I shared with her. I get up to throw the peels away, and all over the floor are the remains of all the pieces of orange I gave her! She chewed out the juice, then spit out the rest.

The cairn terrier we used to have would spit out the mushrooms after eating a bite of pizza.
Oranges are a treat here, and nothing gets spit out unless I try to hide a pill in it. Then just the pill gets spit out.
