We were at the Ann Arbor Art Fair one year and an actual tornado blew through. It was awful. My daughter and I took cover in a parking garage.Stuff was flying all over the place....Not fun.

We had that happen when the kids were little and we were at a 4-H fair in MD. Absolutely torrential rain, and we found out about the tornado later. It was about a mile away.

Time for Dinner, Shower, Kids to bed, Bar. In that order. :D

Hope y'all have a great night!

Have FUUUUNNNN! And be careful.

Thats why you go to a bar!

A bar? What's that? Oh, is that one of those places you can go to with friends to have a night to yourself. I wouldn't know anything about that. Can't remember the last time.

Well, whatta-load-a-work these outdoor festivals are. :O

Loaded tent and suspension system Thursday night, loaded art Friday night, got up at 4:45am to be ABLE to get a freekin' parking spot at the Brandywine Festival. Still somewhat muddy which is a pain when you are a vendor. The organizers didn't provide any mulch this year, like last year, so it was grin and bear it, and TRY to keep your tent and merchandise clean. Humid X 1000% kept things twitchy for the first 1/2 of the day, then sun came out. LOADS of shoppers, not as many buyers. She sold two pieces so that's a start. The organizers cut the first day short by about 3+ hours due to the same kind of storms efirdj was having. Reds, and purple's is never a good thing with a light tent, loaded with merchandise. They grew more and more concerned as it got darker and darker, then we started hearing the beeeeping alerts on the weather updates, and it was time to anchor the tent and roll and pray. They were actually asking people to LOWER their tents because of expected high winds, but due to her suspension system for the art, we couldn't, so we'll see what happened when we get there early tomorrow morning.

Although a tent isn't really a HUT, LOL because it kept me thinking of FV's hut time.

Yikes! Hope everything is ok when you get there in the morning.

Raining pretty good here. :( And the temp dropped at least 10 degrees, going to be great sleeping tonight! :)

I love a good storm! Just as long as no tornadoes are involved I love to watch storms.

I've already figured that one out. He doesn't play it near as much as he used to though. I have learned that if I need to say anything to him then I should NOT do it when he is playing his games. It's like he loses his hearing or something and if he does happen to respond to me then he will never remember what I said.

timoody keep an eye on your Wow player. :) I've heard it's more addictive than vaping !!!!

I've been in storms, hurricanes, and near a tornado which was fine, but these light duty tents have me concerned as to what we will find when we get there tomorrow at o-dark-hundred hours.

X - fingers crossed.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! Did it get windy? I don't remember hearing any wind this afternoon, just the rain.

Sorry, had to go to Fleet Farm. AKA the man's mall. Seriously, they even have tee shirts. Drott, it's TSC on steroids. I got shed windows super cheap.

And yes, there is a good reason for that blurb on the site. As in my order was completely smashed and I want it all replaced.
Me: when did it arrive?
Them: this afternoon.
Me: pics of the damage please?
Them: Um, I threw it all out.
Me: go take a pic of the broken bottles
Them: I'm not digging through the trash, that's gross.
Seriously?

My favorite was the damage claim 3 weeks after the juice arrived at their house. The resulting pic was of 3 empty bottles.....

Hehe no worries timoody. I speak from experience because I started, and ran a multi-national PC gaming clan wherein we competed in multiple games, and it was beyond a 2nd full time job.

Reminds me of when I was waitressing and a customer would complain about their food - when there was like 2 bites left on the plate! Ummm, I was back at your table at least twice since you got your order, WTF????

It's like you ALMOST want to give them an "A" for effort for TAKING the time to take and send the pics, but ummmm, ................. ROTFL for being beyond stoopid to take them of empty bottles.
