Mornin'. Already been craptastic. Melanie woke up this morning with a nasty cough. Mrs E thinks that the school will probably call before lunch to come pick her up. As I was getting out of the shower, Mrs poked her head in the door and told me to hold my breath when I got dressed. Charli got into something that upset her stomach and left a trail of runny poo from the bedroom, all the way through the house while I was in the shower. While I was getting all of my stuff in my pockets and on my belt, Cocoa started gagging to barf. Got her outside in time. Forgot to eat breakfast. Left my personal cell phone sitting on the bed. Thankfully I rememebered my work phone. We have our company Christmas party today, but Im probably going to miss more than half of it because we had an air conditioner unit go out last night in our large customer equipment area. We also expect to have our crates for moving the warehouse delivered today, probably while no one is here. Also supposed to be getting the useless pallet jack sometime today, but hoping for Monday.

Can I reset my morning? Please?

That's craptastic! Hope it gets better.

I'll be working harder on my time off that I do at work.
Don't think about it! Just enjoy your time off for good behavior!

Hi Adam! The house is completely restored back to the year it was built (1898) the pics don't do it justice, it's stunning inside.

I love old houses like that! The first apartment we lived in VA was used as a hospital during the Civil War. It had 12 foot ceilings, 9 ft windows, and original wide plank hardwood floors.

We did it the easy way. Santa came to the school and we bought the school pix. Didnt have to step foot in a mall, and the pictures came out REALLY good.

Good Morning Posse!

Weird not going to work today....
I would say you deserve it. But then I saw you were going to be busy doing other stuff and not enjoying the day off.

I really miss my last house, even though it was about half the size of what we have now. It was built in 1910. Its the one that had the ghosts/spirits/whatever you want to call it. I loved the 10ft ceilings. And it just had a cozy feel.

Bamrz, that sounds awesome. I love old houses, they have a charm that you just can't get with a new house. This one has the wide plank floors upstairs and skinny maple with granite inlays downstairs. The town had a granite quarry, that's where the waterfall is now, the little lake under it is the original quarry, it's over 180' deep!
Of course the kitchen is shocking when you walk in, as that's commercial. White walls, stainless everything, and padded linoleum flooring.

Paul, I had to come in the forum just to see what trouble you were starting.

Well, its about that time to head to the company function, aka mandatory fun... I hope the food is good at least.

Y'all have a great late morning and early afternoon. Normally, I would try to check in with my phone... but since some idiot left it at home, you'll just have to manage without me.

I don't know how we'll manage without you but have fun.
