Lunch break is over... I kinda took one that lasted too long. Oops.

But I did find out that SC waives concealed carry permit fees to disabled vets. I may be able to get one at no charge. Maybe. Hopefully. Then its off to find a subcompact I like AND can afford. And holster. Then actually save enough money to buy it. My wife is going to kill me.

"SECTION 23-31-215. Issuance of permits

(A) (6) payment of a fifty dollar application fee. This fee must be waived for disabled veterans and retired law enforcement officers"

Do you still have to take a course?

Check out the XD line of sub compacts. If you like your full size, you should like the subs.

Coffee link? West Coast Roasting Company - Fine Coffee Roasters

I can personally recommend the Kenya, Honduras Cup of Excellence and Costa Rica.

I'm actually brewing a pot of Kenya right meow.

TSC is a way of life!

Im pretty sure I still need to take the course, but I dont mind that. Especially if the fee gets waived. Things like that are really why I need to look in to it a little more.

Ive been looking at, but havent fired, an XD 9mm sub. I do want to keep it in a 9mm. Its just easier to keep track of one caliber. My boss has a XD .40 that I shot a few weeks ago. Its too small for my hands to shoot comfortably. He said the next time we go out, he'll bring the extended mags to see how that felt to me. We'll see.

Funny. :glare:

Did see and buy some more things for the girls. Is it wrong to spend more on them than Hubby???:lol:
I wouldnt have it any other way in my home.

Oh No...No stamps at the post office Christmas week. YIKES...
Well, we still had some letter stamps, but ran out of all holiday and airmail stamps. We didn't even have anything to combine for the airmail for people. :(

This is what stopped me(
What? The batteries? They are teeny ones, about $4 each.

Whys that??????
I found out why today! Apparently the big brains downtown decided to change the way the stamps are ordered. Offices cannot order more until the 22nd of Dec. So the whole area is going to be out of stamps and stay that way until some time in January when they come in. Apparently planning ahead and thinking are not strong suits for the head honchos. :grr:

Because they mailed them to her PO and there stuck in Kearny like everything else!! O sorry that's just my view.

From my phone
 They actually do mail us our stamps! Not sure if they go anywhere near Kearny though.

Singin in the rain...just singin in the rain...la la la la la ..I'm happy again...
Oh I absolutely love those old movies! :)

Has anyone tried the frozen Chinese stuff from PF Changs in a food store near you?
It's delicious.I only want to eat Chinese stuff now.It takes 10 min to cook and is absolutely fabulous.I stocked up for the Apocalypse.I can't get enough of this stuff..Mr.???? is not crazy about Chinese but who cares. Its just that good...
I'm going to have to try some of that! :)
