Good morning y'all. I know you guys are probably tired of hearing me complain about my sick kids... Im sorry. If you are, just tell me and I'll keep it to myself.

Melanie got a pretty decent night of sleep after we got her to bed a second time. She didnt have a fever when she got up this morning, so Mrs E told her to sit down for breakfast and she started saying her tummy hurt. Well no carp kid, you havent eaten hardly anything in five days. So Mrs E told her to get dressed and get ready for school. She didnt want to go to school because she still has a cough and her tummy hurt, so she started crying, crying made her cough. UNGH. I finally went in and fussed at her and told her she's going to school, so dry it up. If she wanted to feel better, she needed to stop crying and eat something for breakfast. I havent heard from Mrs E since I left, so I can only assume she was able to eat a little bit and get to school.

Morning. Up early again. But it's my mini vk.
I cant like that...

Good morning folks. I'm sorry I haven't checked in with y'all. I'm fine and alive and kickin'. A good and sweet friend was kind enough to check in on me last night and listened to me vent and rant and feel sorry for myself. It helped.

Alex is still having a lot of anxiety but the panic attacks have decreased a good bit. He's still on home bound school and will hoefully go back after the Christmas break. Morgan was up night before last all night. By that I mean, she never went to sleep. I tried my darnedest to stay awake but ended up lightly dozing on the sofa. Unfortunately, this is part of bipolar disorder and I hope to goodness that she isn't about to start a BP cycle. We just got her meds straight and I don't think either one of us can handle another round of what put her in the hospital. I called her doc yesterday and she said if it happens again then we'll think about increasing one of the meds. Between the million and one doctor appts the kids have, Christmas hustle and bustle, hubby gone so much, and all the other day to day stuff, I fell into a hole but I'm back now.

On a lighter note, I only have a tiny bit more shopping to do before I'm finished. Good news...I've lost 22 pounds. Now if I can just make it through Christmas without eating the house I'll be good.

Sorry you didn't sleep well, Drott. Completely understand.

James, glad Melanie seems to be on the upswing of being sick. I'll send good vibes and hope this is the end of the illness cycle in your house. And NO, we are not tired of hearing about your kids being sick. That's what we're here for. We're your friends and want to know whats going on. So don't think that.

Need to go get ready for another busy day but I'll check in later. I'm gonna try to catch up a bit on the thread but doubt I'll finish so you are all liked and loved.

I wonder if "caudron" crud is any better or worse than "cauldron" crud.... :p

***btw***
Mrs E thought the idea of Cauldron Crud was hilarious. And that Gills N Guts was nasty. She gagged when I told her what was in Victor's Surprise. Somthing about slobber, tennis balls, cardboard, wicker, gloves, and chicken sounded bad to her. :D
