Package shipped!!!! How are steeping times for house blend? and CC bakery juices in general?

House is great straight out of the mail box, imo. But at the 2 week point is when it starts to change. And it changes quickly when it starts.

Pro tip: buy a 120ml and put it in 30ml bottles. It'll steep more quickly. Or just fill up one 15 or 30ml and leave the rest in the jug if you don't want it to steep too fast.

V also has pre steeped house under 'Specials'. ;) I got one in the mail a few days ago with a born on date of 10/11/12. :D

Dinner was a good surprise! It doesnt have a name, but its made by sauteing diced boneless skinless chicken breast in butter, LOTS of garlic, salt and pepper. Then you add enough EVOO to mostly cover the bottom of the pan, then drop a pound or two of broccoli on top it and let it steam and cook down, then you mix it all up. Serve on top of some spaghetti or angel hair pasta, and you have some AMAZING flavors that mix together.

Agreeing with James on the steeping here, the Danish are best if left alone for 2 weeks. And everyone likes House at a different stage.

I vote for this:

We're still working James.....
James knows his steeping of Copper Creek stuff!

If you need to set mine aside, I really dont mind. I have enough for a few more weeks. Seriously. I dont mind.

65....oh to feel the warmth that is 65....
It was niiiiiiice. I came home and the windows were open and the house had a dose of fresh air today. Ah maze ing.

Probably the best Monday you've had in a while. You're getting a nice holster and 2 very nice gun belts. ;)
Aye. That I is!

Yep. The joys of getting in 5 pallets in. None are the same size, and none are in good enough condition to keep. Every one of them has to be stacked onto a single pallet. I cant wait!!! :glare:

House Blend is something you have to try several times as it ages. You may prefer it fresh. Or, you may be like me and prefer it at least two months old. The bakery juices are better after a few weeks. I never noticed any huge difference after they pass a month old.

And that reminds me... I hope she's not done shipping yet. I havent gotten my shipping notice yet...

Dude, under "specials" there's pre-aged house. I got a jug the other day w/ a born on date of 10/11/12. I call BS (respectfully, of course) that there's no difference after 1 month. The pre-aged house that I got is like no other House I've had.

You should grab a bottle and report back.

Roll your eyes back at her and give her the attitude back. That's what my Mom did to me and boy did I grow out of that attitude quick. ;)

Thanks V! So looking forward to this weekend just gotta figure out what to do...maybe shopping by myself. :D

This. It works. She'll be so shocked that she won't know wth to do. So she'll stop.

Goodnight James.

If you pass through Houston on the way to the wedding, take an extra day if you can. We can go have some fun at my friend John's place and shoot guns. Or we could go to the range. I know you'll have the kids and wife, but that's fine. John's wife and her would probably get along great. They're nice, good people. Plus you'll be able to feel an XD with a trigger job.

Good night James. I am going to bed a bit early tonight. All that unproductiveness of the day has worn me out. See ya tomorrow.

Goodnight, Tiff. I've notice that if I lay around all day or be unproductive it makes me sleepy.

Good morning everyone!

That means you too Drott! Its warm here today too. Its darned near 60 already. But its still misting heavily or lightly drizzling... Depends on how you want to look at it. Its just enough to keep the roads wet and tractor trailers tipping over on the interstates. Im glad I dont touch the area it happened.

First softball practice is this evening. I think I get more nervous than the players do...

I love it when I can pick up bottles of pre-steeped House.

I apprecieate the offer, but we are going to have to keep the trip as streamlined as possible. We are flying out on a Thursday, rehersal on Friday, wedding on Saturday, flight home Sunday. I really do wish I had the time to stop by though. I would love to meet you, your dogs, and your arsenal.

Exhausted over here, but almost caught up. James, your order is going out in the morning. My apologies, we tried so hard to get them all done. :(

Going to bed, see everyone tomorrow.
I was serious when I said dont worry about it. You do more than most vendors have even thought about doing, and it does not go unappreciated.

And Im not going to like that post... Not because my order didnt get shipped, but because I have a feeling you guys worked way too hard today.

Good morning, everyone! Spring weather here this week, it seems. Supposed to get into the 80's. Last week of school, so giving finals all week. Then the end of term grading begins...ack!

We're making a trip to the park this weekend with GF's cousin who is going to be visiting. All week at the Mouse House and I get to go back on Saturday. Ah well, at least it's different being there as a guest than working.

My sympathies to everyone on the kids and eye rolling thing. I have one left at home, but just barely...he turns 18 in 3 months, then he can go be the smartest person in the house somewhere else! :D

It looks like the sun will come out afterall. I've gotten more done this morning than I did all day yesterday. I've already vacuumed, cleaned the carpets in the bedrooms, cleaned the kitchen, and cleaned slobber off the walls and cabinets in the kitchen and living room. I still have the rest of the hall and my bedroom to go. Shrek doesn't really go in the kids rooms or the bathrooms unless someone leaves the toilet seat up and he is thirsty.

I still need to make a trip to the attic for a suitcase, pack, and wash some clothes. I'm already tired.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good morning, gang.

You do know their RBAs??

Yep. I won't buy one, but I think they're cool as hell. If I did RBAs I'd have that one, a Sugar skull IHY and the Maya IHY. But oh well.

Wow, Rick!! You look completely different than how I envisioned you. I thought you'd have long grey hair and a beard. Yes, because you own a cruiser type bike.

That's when the roads are the most dangerous. The road is the most slick then because the oil doesn't get washed off like in a heavy rain and people have the mentality of "oh, it's just a little drizzle".

And I understand on streamlining the trip. Consider it an open offer for any time. I don't have a large apartment, but I do have a couch. Or you could snuggle up with me in the bed. ;)
