YAY!!!
You have to be careful. Ian had a kid that picked on him in elementary school, and the teacher never did anything about it. She even had them sitting next to each other. Ian's a lot like me, he's really laid back, but when he reaches his limit, it's not pretty. One day the kid was stuffing grass in Ian's shorts, and he reached the limit, grabbed the kid's arm and twisted it up behind his back. He broke the boy's arm, technically a spiral fracture, and it's a damned good thing I was friends with his mom or we could have been sued and had Ian
thrown out of school. Oh, and Ian was a black belt in tai kwon do and knew better than to use any of that on him.
So the next bully was in middle school, and was smacking Ian with a jump rope handle in gym class. Ian managed to grab the rope and took it away, but the kid decided to do a sneak attack. It ended up with Ian on the floor and the kid having to get pulled off of him by the gym teacher, twice. Zero tolerance escalated it to having to go to court, which kept getting delayed until summer when none of the witnesses were available. Ian ended up with community service for defending himself. BTW, he was 6'4" and about 250 lbs at the time, the bully was about a head shorter than him. The judge couldn't believe the kid started the fight.
