I hope you all had a good day so far. We are home for a couple of hours now. I just got back from picking up the dogs & pizza. The kids had a lot of fun in Florida. I took Morgan shopping&she got some new clothes. Alex was content to play Xbox with his cousin & walk down to the beach a couple of times. The week with my in-laws wasn't nearly as stressful as anticipated. 
they're actually great people, just a bit on the .... retentive side. Hubby and I are more the laid back go with the flow kind.
No drama or issues with the kids all week. ..woooohoo!! My head feels better but not all the way right. I've had enough excedrin this week to last a month. Not sure why my stomach has been so upset though.
All in all it was nice to get away and nice to get back home.

Tiff, I am so glad that you got away for a bit. Not happy that you ended up feeling icky, but I hope you relaxed a little.

My guess would be the Excedrin.
To me, if it had a picture it would be a slice of white cake. However, WHITE doesn't show up in posts.

Thanks, Miss V. Been kinda ....-kicked from work and teaching, but it's been a good week. I'm struggling with the decision of whether to buy season tickets to our local hockey team. It's a lot of money, but we have SOOOOO much fun at every game and I WANT to. Still haven't made up my mind. I'm itching to do it, though.
No Mondays allowed on Friday. It's the law, dammit.
Abbie's doing great. Fat little beagle has been very active like a puppy. 3 more days of antibiotics. Afraid she's getting more spoiled though. Instead of biscuits in the morning she's getting Ritz crackers.
We gotta sort out how you can hire a very part time helper to take a little of the workload. There must be someone who can be trained, lives close by, needs a little bit of extra income, needs to be able to be a bit selective with their hours, and is bright enough and trustworthy enough to learn how to mix. Oh, and is willing to sign a nice, iron-clad non-compete and non-disclosure agreement.
I can see it now... War Of The CC Juices... PIE vs. HOUSE. It'll end in CC Civil War, I tell ya! Guess I'll have to ask for a sample of PIE when I order...
When I lived in PHX, there was an IHL team we'd go to see. Always a good time when we went. I even bought a Phoenix Roadrunners jersey. Where I live now, there's a team called the Tornadoes I haven't seen for a while. Gotta catch a game. Go for it, Rick!
Glad you had a nice vaca TL. I'll soon be heading in the direction myself. The wife and I are heading for TN and KY. I'm looking forward to Walking In Memphis (that song's permanently in my head right now...), sampling some fine bourbon, watching some true thoroughbreds run at Keeneland, and checking out Music City.
For now, just lit a fire in the Weber, getting ready to burn some steaks and kick back for a bit. Got a pint of Guinness beside me and I'm ready for the weekend. Slainte posse!

Now that's funny! If such a person existed in this town I would have hired them by now. So far I have had two people interested. One smells like he chain smokes in a closet and talked about suing the company that just fired him, the other can't stand too long, or sit too long, or pick anything up. Pack a box? I like how you think. It would be easier if I wasn't Scottish. In case you haven't heard, we have a hard time turning loose of money.
$630 a ticket x 2, but it's 36 games including parking, and some other nice perqs.
