I just got a phone call from the grooming shop owner. Someone broke into the hair salon next door to us, busted through the sheetrock into our shop where our tubs are at. Busted all the water pipes. Then used a side door connecting to the Liberty Tax on the other side of us and stole $200. They didn't get anything from us because we don't keep any cash there overnight. I'm so thankful they didn't know the value of my clippers and supplies because they didn't take that, our tv, computer, nothing else. The 15 kennel dogs were standing in 3 inches of water this morning when the owner got there to let them out. We're out of commission until walls, water pipes, and floors are repaired. Hopefully by next week I can go back to work.

I agree with you. It's sturdy, not flimsy, and feels nice in your hand. The charge on it is still going on mine since yesterday early afternoon. I'll let you know how long till it needs a recharge.

Yes but I calculated it and for the little that I'd save to just order from a vendor. Also wouldn't have to Waite 4-6 weeks.

It sorta worked out that way with the Protank co-op, almost cheaper from a vendor after the fees.

They are very nice. It's sturdy and does feel nice in the hand like Tiff says.I'm blown away by the battery life..It wouldn't be a bad buy for those days when you need a longer life time on your battery.

For anyone who doesn't have a KitchenAid stand mixer, they are fantastic. I lost my last one in a divorce. Just found the higher powered 5 quart version with all metal gears (the lower end ones have plastic gears and less power) for $199... it's $325 on Amazon.

Sears.com. It's one of those "we won't tell you the price until you go to check out", and you can pick it up in the store and not pay shipping. Shipping MIGHT be free if you have it shipped...can't recall. Ended up being like $215 with (horrible California) sales tax. GREAT price.
