Mornin' guys and gals. More rain all day today. We've got the dehumidifiers in the basement running full blast, and I have a feeling I will be down there today with a wetvac. I hope that freakin' wall collapses soon (while no one is home, of course) and we can make insurance pay for the repairs. Its only $25,000 to get it fixed. Thats it. "Just" $25k.

For years, we've heard Cocoa deal with breathing problems. But every time we get her to the vet to have it checked out, it would go away since she was so worked up (she hates going to the vet). The Mrs E had a thought while she was giving Melanie her allergy meds. What if Cocoa's problems are allergies? She called the vet, and they pulled Cocoa's file. They said that since she didnt have any heart problems, she could have a dose of OTC allergy meds everyday until the day she dies. So, Mrs E gave her a pill. The change was nothing short of miraculous. We cant hear her breathing or snoring anymore!!! After just one day, we saw her act in a way that we never thought we would see out of her again. She actually tried to play! She's coming up on 14 years old now, and she was trying to act like a young pup of 10. Naturally, she couldnt keep up with Charli, but it was awesome watching her try. Mrs E said "This is so cool! I dont feel like we're waiting for her to die now!" Yeah, her breathing was THAT bad.

Sallie and Tiff... my wife has the same problem with veins. Hers will either roll, collapse, or blow out. And since she's a hemophobe, I have to tell the nurses to have smelling salts ready and someone to help me catch her when she passes out. Next time, ask for a pediatric needle, and a pediatric nurse. They're more experienced in hitting a hard to get vein.

Jeff, I dont think Sasha is trying... I think she succeeded.

Drott, why would you post that? Now I want one.

FV, calling it a day at 10:30p is NOT cool. But very much appreciated. I just hope you can enjoy your weekend again.

I think I covered everything without a multi....I think.

I liked it simply because I can relate to it. I was just thinking to myself "Who the heck stole spring and will summer ever get here?"

That sounds good!
Mmm, stopped for food on my way home from the Dr.! A biscuit with sausage gravy and a bacon, egg and cheese burrito - YUM! :)

We're not having summer either Stretchy. It's still cold, raining and generally creepy up here. The woods is pretty and green, but you can't go outside. :grr:
